The Sashimi quality and portion is up to standard. Sushi is properly made. Normally, pickled ginger should be readily available because traditionally (for Japanese) it is used to refresh your taste among eating different sushi. The staff were a bit weird that they kept asking me whether We need assistance every 5 minutes. We were not sure they were instructed to do so or else. But We just wanted to focus on thinking, eating or talking to my friends. Even when I was texting on my phone, the staff still walked to my table, looked at my face and kept asking me “is everything fine?” and waiting for my response. Overall, three staff asked me more than 10 times in total. Honestly, we would let the staff know if we need something. And we did tell them, we would let you know when we need anything else. We believe they overdid the so-called serving. Besides, I ordered a hand roll, but the avocado was missing then they just wrapped a piece of avocado outside the original wrong one with another seaweed. (Not with the soft shell crab and rice in the middle but outside) The seaweed was soggy not crunchy for the hand roll, coz the rice was hot. Once I had placed my order online, I then had to go inside to tell them that part of my order was gluten free and the non- gluten free items needed to be separated from the gluten free items. I was then directed to pay inside where the staff member had no idea how to total the recipt - She tried 3 times and cleared the whole receipt, finally got it right on the 4th attempt. I was then directed to wait outside in the cold. I asked for a chair because I am heavily pregnant and was refused. After waiting over half an hour, standing outside, I had to ask for a chair again because I couldn't stand anymore - I was refused again. I had to tell her that I couldn't stand anymore and she needed to get me a chair, she went to get me a chair and then stopped to talk to one of the other staff member. One of the other customers who were also waiting outside (I was told for almost an hour) went and grabbed the chair off of her and gave it to me. Such poor customer service. I was given half a glass of water so I said I quite thirsty could I please have a bottle of table water. I was told no! From there no staff came near our table at all. I had to try and flag someone down to refill my glass which was difficult. We ordered around 4 plates each mainly silver plates. I couldn’t believe how rude they were about me wanting table water. I was offered I could purchase sparkling water to which I said no thanks table water is fine. I said to my daughter I am so thirsty I just want to leave. No one came to the table to tally up our plates so I grew tired of waiting and walked to the counter only to be ignored and someone finally walked over to our table around 5 or so minutes after I walked to the counter.
