Trial Bay Kiosk — Restaurant in Arakoon

Sometimes being a local, we go to our favourite places/businesses,take them for granted and don't let them know that we love them. We keep going back but others don't see and know that! Trial Bay Kiosk is one of my regular places to go in South West Rocks! It's an awesome location, as in the view is beautiful no matter what time of day or year and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. In the 18 months that i have now lived in South West Rocks, I have not had a bad dining experience there. Never have I been rushed or made to feel uncomfortable by any of the staff. We love the food, coffee, wine and atmosphere. We recently held my daughters 16th birthday party there, had 30 adults a three course dinner and a grazing platter. Everyone was extremely happy with their meal and the venue as a whole. Wether it be just for coffee and drinks, breakfast, lunch or dinner Trial Bay Kiosk is a place I'm more than happy...

Closed on mondays, and that’s ok. So we excitedly arrived on Tuesday, hoping to relive some memories of time spent on the verander with heavenly views, no such luck, only open for take away coffees, then no bin provided as we left. We asked the proprietor what was the story, instead of talking to us he rudely pointed us to a blackboard & continued treating us an an absolute inconvenience. Boy had this cafe been run into the ground over the past 10 years. In its hay day it had rainforest music with healthy alternative snacks & the most beautiful view of south west rocks, it was always busy, for good reason,,,,,what has gone wrong here now!?!
