3.5 stars A Burmese cafe. Good for fast and cheap meal. Environment: causal setting. Bright & clean. Not packed. Decor with Burmese related pictures/photos. Pack at street.--- 6.8/10 Service: only 1-2 staff in the cafe. When I entered, no people in the cafe and one girl with smiles came out from the kitchen. Order and pay at the front desk. The girl went back to the kitchen again. Grab all the utensils and seasonings at the self service shelf. Food served one by one fast. --- 6.8/10 Food: simple menu, but barely read the price. Menu with food photos show ~$10 for some dishes. Have another list with different prices for noodles dishes and drinks at the front desk. Good portion. Good value. Normal presentation. Ong Noh Khauk Swel (Coconut Noodles Soup), ?$12.5: the girl called it Laksa when served. Authentic Burmese soup base. Served with lemon and onions. The soup base was yummy. --- 7.3/10 Htamin Paung (Rice with meat, Seafood & Vegetables), $10: very good value. Meat can be pork or chicken. Quantity served was reasonable with two large pieces of Chicken and 2 quarters of curried Potatoes. On side table were Chilli, sauces, etc which was self serve. Water was served in clean bottles and glasses were clean and so were the cutlery. Overall Cafe was clean. Other foods needed to be ordered off the menu. Prices were reasonable. The rest of food was probably was not quite ready. And some had to be assembled on order. The Chicken curry was lacking in quality and taste. The one staff was friendly but understanding of queries was poor. There was no shortage of customers...
Read moreHonestly speaking without mincing words it's not to my expectation for the prices I paid. Most of the meat over cooked and chewy hard. Lost its taste. All gone to the stock. I will not go in there again. Sooner drive 25mins away to Thornley... there will be varieties of better food. Even my daughter agreed with me. Neither the staff were friendly. Given us that not a good taste of Burma!😰 Too bad I frankly comment it here. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to taste those awful Burmese😖😵 food. Definitely not our street kind of food. Hope they will buck up. Reckon I could easily dish up a...
