We attended the restaurant on Thursday 29th February 2024 for my husbands birthday. Our booking was for 6:30. I understand it was busy but the we definitely weren’t happy with the service. We placed our order for entrees and kids meals to come out at the same time. We sat and sat waiting patiently but as you can imagine as time went on the children weren’t happy that they still had no food, as were we as our entrees hadn’t arrived and no one informed us. At about 7:40 we were informed there was about a 45 min wait on food but entrees and the kids meal weren’t far away. Again we waited, we asked about the meals again at 8:05 to be told they wouldn’t be long. Meanwhile we watched other tables who came after us get their meals. We were told it was because of what we ordered. Finally by about 8:30 we got our entree which was then followed by the main meal soon after. The children were taken home because they were angry and tired, so missed the rest of the evening. Although the food was nice not many of us ate very much due to it being so late and the amount of drink that was consumed. The table wasn’t cleared until we asked and to be honest the reason for the late food arrival didn’t seem fair. As I said, I understand it was busy but to book for 6:30pm and not be eating until two hours later doesn’t seem to be good service in my eyes. Yes we were offered a complimentary drink but even that didn’t curb the angst of the long wait with little communication until we asked. The fact that we spent almost $500 didn’t warrant the service. Such a shame as when we attended the last time, we were happy. Maybe just one off bad night, but definitely not a good experience.
