Latte Lounge Ballina — Restaurant in Ballina

Sat down with a couple of friends for a cup of coffee to kill time before heading to the airport. I ordered a coffee, cookie and toastie and my friends ordered similarly. We were there for maybe an hour, it was a Monday, not busy and there was never a shortage of seats. We were about to order another round of coffees when the gentleman who served us, presumably the owner, came and told us we can go and sit out side but to please move as there are other customers coming in. As a paying customer myself I couldn’t understand why we were less important than the next people. Considering there were still plenty of seats outside, it clearly wasn’t about lack of space for new customers. We left immediately and it left a sour taste in our mouths. The situation could have been handled much better and in a much more polite and subtle manner, rather than us being told loudly and obnoxiously that we need to vacate the seats we were in. Food and coffee was good, but as a business that is serving primarily takeaways, I would have thought they would have valued dine-in customers that are contributing to making the place look filled and popular. As an airport transfers operator and coffee lover, I have chosen Nick’s Coffee shop as my favorite coffee in the whole Ballina Byron area. The coffee is the best and the service and prices are great as well. The staff are quick friendly and parking access is unbeatable. Most times I park right in front of outdoor coffee counter and usually they start making my coffee when they see me pull up, there are also indoor lounges and outdoor seating areas as well as really clean well kept public toilets nearby, but best of all as I mentioned before, the coffee...
