amazing japanese food in an unassuming side of the road, you really shouldn’t let this one slip by.
everything seems made to order because it took like 20min for our food to arrive after payment… but holy damn it’s so worth it
with rice they give miso soup and it is unironically the best i have ever drank in perth, its taste is so rich yet delicate, i know they put real effort into it. just sad i couldn’t have more + how the bowl is shaped like that for some reason, harder to drink with a spoon and making me finish it faster. fair though because i would have had all the soup too fast, and i appreciate the lids too
my main food was the chicken katsu curry don. every part of it was so flavorful and the chicken crispy. portion doesn’t look impressive until you uncover the chicken and it’s actually worth the money. only concerned about the bowl being so unstable on a thin circle like that.
i had some of the kurozu chicken bento too, it’s like some twist on korean chicken?? i think? but it’s banging with an amazing flavor that you absolutely cannot afford to skip out on. it came with tuna sushi which exceeded my expectations.
had also a bit of udon, nice light soup and tasty noodles. tempura prawn was only slightly below what i would have really enjoyed.
this place is very promising and i definitely want to come back again. very very...
Read moreThis is definitely a hidden gem! We drove all the way down to Bateman from the city to try this new Japanese restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it. The agedashi tofu was simply amazing—crispy on the outside, silky soft inside, and perfectly balanced with its savory broth.
The sashimi was incredibly fresh just like it just came straight off the boat! The quality and presentation were top-notch, making it one of the best Japanese dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Hate didn’t get chance to take pics bc it’s so good, can’t wait to have them all!
Highly recommend this place! Whether you’re a sashimi lover or just looking for authentic Japanese flavors, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll...
Read moreA rather new Japanese restaurant within the Parry Avenue food complex next to Mr Danburi Japanese, Lepak & Bateman Chinese Restaurant.
Visited early on a Saturday evening with just my son & I. The atmosphere itself is bright, clean, pleasant & minimalistic.
Menu is ample with prices being on the higher end of average.
We ordered :
Salmon Don - Salmon, spring Onion, Wasabi, Pickled Ginger served on rice $21.90
Karaage Chicken Curry & Rice (Board Special Menu) $18.90
Tempura Mochi & Matcha Ice Cream $10.90
We enjoyed the meal however, we would probably rate it as just average. Nothing really stood out.
In my opinion, Ohnamiya would probably be offer better pricing for...
