Golden Elephant Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Berri

Wonderful indian food, and very reasonably priced. We stayed at a vacation spot near Berri recently and while we had planned to sample a variety of local restaraunts, we ended up getting takeaway from here three days in a row. My partner and I both love indian food, but aren't that happy with the restaraunts near us. And the restaraunt has such a large range, that my partner and I were spoiled for choice and could try something new each day. We thought it was quite odd (and I've always seen it as something to be wary of) that they cover such a broad range of cusines from indian food, to yirros, to pizzas, to burgers and fish and chips... I've always been told that restaraunts like this never do any one thing well. While I obviously didn't have a chance to sample everything on the menu, this doesn't seem to hold true for this restaraunt at all. We never got a bad dish from them, and I think it was very telling that every time we got takeaway there was a long line up of locals ordering all sorts of things; so their food must have a very good reputation. MY Family have been Dining In and Takeaway from The Golden Elephant Indian restraunt since THE day they opened....The food is ALWAYS freshly cooked, the Rice is ALWAYS so soft, lite and fluffy it can be classed as nothing but the finest.... THe Service in the Restraunt itself would be of a 3 out of 4 start rating.... The takeaway service could improve a little in the way the young Female Staff act a bit more Professional (training is needed, in this area, with 2 of the young ladies) This does NOT inflict though on the Quality of the Food, Both Dining in and Takeaway.... The Kebabs are to walk a kilometre for. .. And the Aroma of the Spices from the Kitchen are what youd expect your Dine In meal to taste like... AUTHENTIC INDIAN........... I would HIGHLY reccomend this Business to anyone that is either Dining alone, as a couple a Gathering or a Function........... Well Done In OUR Books Ooopz, I mean Well done...

You guy's have never failed to hand over the most amazing kabab's and the best hot chips on the planet🤗 but it was amazing to have your take away menu experience, from the most beautiful Thai food we've had!!!! Thankyou it was awesome & I wish I had written this review when we first had it a couple of months ago but grabbing another lunch special the other day on my way through with hubby, where you were kind enough to bring our order to our car (because I couldn't walk very well & hubby couldn't hear you call our name 🤭) & as always it was so good we couldn't wait to get home to eat it so we had to pull over 😅 Always met with a happy attitude and kind staff at this lovely place Id give 100 🌟 's if they would let me See you again soon.... maybe I did already write a review cos I usually do when the food and service is this good 👍 next time il take a...
