I recently had the distinct pleasure of visiting what can only be described as the finest pub I have ever encountered, and it is with great enthusiasm that I recommend it to all discerning patrons. Upon entering, I was enveloped by a warm and inviting ambiance that immediately set the stage for a remarkable evening.

Culinary Excellence

The quality of the cuisine was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish I sampled was not only exquisite in flavor but also artfully presented, showcasing the chef’s meticulous attention to detail. The ingredients were remarkably fresh, reflecting a commitment to culinary excellence that is all too rare. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, compelling me to explore the entirety of the menu.

Exemplary Service

The customer service was truly exemplary. The staff displayed an unwavering attentiveness, effortlessly ensuring our needs were met while maintaining an air of genuine hospitality. Their extensive knowledge of the menu allowed for insightful recommendations, elevating our dining experience to new heights.

Remarkable Affordability

Furthermore, the pricing was astonishingly reasonable, offering remarkable value for such a high-caliber dining experience. It is a rare gem indeed to enjoy such an outstanding culinary affair without the burden of exorbitant costs.

Conclusion

In summary, this pub surpassed all expectations and provided an unparalleled experience. With its culinary excellence, exemplary service, and remarkable affordability, it stands as a paragon of hospitality. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to this exceptional...

Had a table booked for approximately 15 adults 2 tables We all ordered our meals. 1 person in our group ordered the Mexicania Chicken Snitty (along with most the rest of us ) Bought 3 different plates to her but what she ordered. Each time we said what she had ordered. The last time the ordered was basically thrown on the table by the so called manager chips ended up on her legs we all looked and said great wrong order again Another waitress come in and was told about the mistakes and said can she get her meal correct and a refund from the stuff ups Refund was returned 20c short pretty said maths can't even be correct to top it off We said what isent her meal being replaced she grunted NO and walked off I myself then walked up and asked to speak to manager Blonde older lady I believe as she said she was I told her how disappointed we all were in the service to the 1 person at our table at how 3 different meals was placed in front of her and I stated what this poor girls order was and how could it be so difficult to be done she was very argumentative and kept talking over me saying no I was incorrect that all her staff heard the order as Texas how can it be so difficult I do believe YOUR staff need to retrained in Customer service and in Hospitality as our group was treated pretty poorly If you can handle the work and pressure in a Hospitality kitchen get out If there was a way to not put a star that's the way it...

Dropped in on my way down the coast and I'm so lucky to have done that.

It's in a great location, one left turn just before the Nowra bridge (southbound) and you're there.

It's conveniently located across from the Nowra train station, next door to some really good cafes and bakeries and an IGA across the carpark.

The main road to the picturesque Shoalhaven Heads runs across from the hotel eastwards to the headland.

The patrons and staff were really hospitable and outwardly friendly. Just the type of vibe you'd expect in a cosy coastal town.

The food and beverages are very competitive with pubs and clubs in the major cities in terms of options and quality.

Since we were here last, it has really shined, with the new renovations and additions making for a modern and welcoming ambience. Love the carpet and the new pool tables.

The dining seating and bistro are situated in a seperate section, out of sight, away from the bar, gaming and outdoor smoking. This makes for a really comfortable experience for families and young ones. In saying this you still have the option to eat on the outdoor balcony or in the main pub area.

Overall I gave this place 5 stars for cleanliness, friendliness and it's food.

Would encourage anyone locally or passing through to drop in for a refreshment, a bite or just some social time.

Thanks to the management and the entire team at the "Bommo" as the...

We came in tonight for dinner, The women serving was not rude to us.. but she was extremely unfriendly. Impossible to get any sort of emotion out of besides a frown. Staff at the bar were not much better... staff overall would be a 1 star out of 5... our drinks were average priced and our food was good. No napkins were provided on the table, but food came out very fast and nice temperature. We ordered: ENTREE: Cheesey Garlic Bread. The garlic bread was nice, lots of cheese and good flavour. MAINS: 1. Half rack of ribs. Kinda of had the texture of fake meat but the sauce was lovely. & 2. Scotch fillet steak with Mushroom sauce. Steak was cooked perfectly. Had a very nice chargril. Mushroom sauce was average. Chips on both dishes was good and salad had nice components and dressing which is appreciated as alot of places don't serve that.

If I could leave no stars I would. We frequent the bomo hotel often but will never return. We had a table of 15 for a belated Xmas party for our staff, our seafood platter was basically inedible, it was deep-fried disgusting food and half of it was black! But that's not the worst part, the worst part was the attitude of the 'manager' when one of our party was unable to consume her parmy as it was swimming in oil and was a sloppy mess. The manager argued and was aggressive and down right rude. Her behaviour was embarrassing for the hotel and if my staff ever spoke to someone this way, they would no longer be employed. Don't recommend, don't waste your money, food and service both disgusting.
