Having seen nothing but 4 or 5 stars reviews at their page, I gave up cafes with beachfront views for a quick pit-stop bite at Crave. Partner ordered Bacon and egg roll with small coffee and it was priced great at $12. I opted for a vege frittata costing $7.5. Unfortunately, my partner ordered and said yes to salad to be included. The bill for the vege frittata with salad was $17, which means that bit of salad leaves and curly beetroot ( not fancy, no avo, nuts etc) with dressing was $9.5, way more than the frittata itself. Taste for both the B&E rolll and Frittata was pretty bland, so didn’t even make up for it. I would normally just eat and never come back, but looking at the older crowd (retirees etc), I would hate for them to be caught out. The prices were listed on the small card next to the frittata so it was my fault for not looking carefully before ordering, but still, I don’t think it’s fair to charge that much for a salad on the side, and it wasn’t even a fanciful salad so I’m calling it out and hopefully they will review their prices for the community. Replying to owner: Sorry you've missed my point. The dish should have been called "Garden Salad with a side of vege frittata" as the garden salad costs way more than the frittata. $9.5 for a garden salad consisting of some julienned carrots, some slivers of onions, 4-5 slices of cucumber, 2-3 whole cherry tomatoes and 2 spirals of beetroot, drizzled with a clear sweet dressing, on a bed of a couple of lettuce leaves. Vesus the vege frittata at $7.5... I did actually went to the counter, wanting to speak with someone but had a closer look at the card next to the frittata and realised that it was listed as $7.5 frittata | $17 with salad - so it was my own fault for ordering it. I know it's tough economic times and running a cafe can be hard - perhaps it would make more sense to raise the price of the frittata, and reduce the price of the side salad. I'm sure the rest of your menu is fine, hence your good reviews. I did, however, enjoy your lovely outdoor seating.

The problem with this place is that you could miss it if you weren’t looking for it. It is definitely a hidden treasure. This is not your normal cafe, this is like a gourmet cafe. The Yums are freshly made and taste amazing. I had a banana smoothie and it was just right. I also had the apple sour cream slice - fantastic! There is adequate parking and an outside seating section. The staff are friendly and even the customers are ok. It’s worth a trip to Crave. You will not be disappointed.

My mum came up to visit from Sydney and she is Celiac. This is a great place to eat for gluten free options. I had the big breaky, which is called “Breakfast you crave” and mum had the GF Nacho’s, and was raving about the mango smoothie she had. everything was great! (Note: pics taken after we had started eating, oops!)

We stopped by this charming cafe for lunch and was delighted to discover their all-day breakfast menu. I opted for scrambled eggs with avocado and halloumi, accompanied by a choice of bread—a fantastic touch! The breakfast was truly delicious. My husband chose the Breakfast Roll (GFO) featuring bacon, egg, caramelized onion, and cheese on Turkish bread. His only suggestion was that the cheese could have been melted rather than cold, though he still enjoyed it. The staff was lovely, and we appreciated the outdoor seating in the sunny weather. The only aspect that didn't quite meet our taste was the salt and pepper squid (calamari) we ordered to share. While fresh, they were unfortunately a bit soggy, lacking crispiness and quite oily. On a positive note, the accompanying salad was enjoyable. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and will certainly return. Our bill came to $60 for the two of us, including one coffee and the three...
