Look, it's ok... Let's start with the negatives... Staff smoking outside our room we paid to stay in, travelling with kids and we dont smoke. Not ok.... absolutely disgusting and disturbing that they find it ok to sit outside the room window and smoke. They force you to use an app to order food then you get hit with a surcharge, then allow others to pay with cash. The waiter has been fed bulldust, stating that he's been told there is no surcharge. I got charged a surcharged that you are not warned about until you get to the end. Not ok. 1 meal came out 20 minutes before the other 2, not all parents want to have their kids eat on their own. We go out to eat as a family, not to have 1 meal go cold before getting the rest as she wont eat on her own. Food tastes good, but lacking presentation and service is lacking. Drinks are not prioritised in order of ordering, they leave those who ordered on the app til last, and left waiting while others have had a couple rounds of drinks and we got nothing. Tried to discuss with staff but they werent interested. So I'll put it all out there in the review. Accommodation room is very spacious, clean and comfortable.

The staff and locals are friendly. We stayed in room 19 which was clean and nice. Appears to have been refurbished in a modern style. Dinner and drinks were great. The only things that I would have liked were: fly screens on the shower window and a lockable one on the glass door and perhaps a fan as we prefer not to use the aircon overnight. Be aware of the mozzies and remember to take Bushmans. The pool was okay but we arrived at 6pm so was a bit chilly to swim. Yes, the room was a bit musty and once aired out was fine. It's just part of the tropics so for those that bleat about it, build a bridge and get over it. The only things that didn't work were the lamps above the bed and the cold water tap was only a dribble. Shower was excellent. As a rather clumsy git, I managed to trip over the edge of the shower this morning. Fabulous stay and highly recommend this place. Relax and don't expect something similar to Versace. Thanks and we will definitely be back. Jen

Once arriving to this location. We had already prebooked so getting the key was easy. The unit had a closed up smell about it. Maybe some air freshner could have helped knowing that people were arriving. They have the pib attached to have dinner although we ate else where. The pub can get a little noisy at night as the sport bay area is adjacent to the accommodation. The lady at the desk was lovely. Its situated across the park from queens beach. Parking outside the rooms. Clean although there was no face wahers in our room . The cold tap needs adjusting as it dripped all night . The beds maybe need stoppers on the wheels as the bed moves when you sit on it . A safety concern for elderly people As a traveller It was small and compact but was all we needed for one night stay

Hi, I wish to pass on my disappointment with the quality of room you provided me with.||I was in room 43 last night.||When I first entered the room, it had a real musty, mouldy smell. So I opened all the windows and door to air it out while I caught up on a few emails, I then went to dinner and returned the the room at around 10pm.||The room still had a bad mouldy smell to it.||I got ready to go to bed, and turned the aircon on as it was quite warm. That’s when I discovered why the room smelt so bad. The aircon fins were caked full of dust, dirt and mould. The smell when I turned it on made me dry reach. The noise it also made resembled an old beat up engine driving up a hill. ||Needless to say I turned it off and had to sleep with no aircon and the smell of mould. ||When I woke in the morning I was able to see how bad the aircon really was. It would appear that aircon has not been cleaned in years, which is beyond neglect towards your guest. Aircons are a breading ground for harmful bacteria and mould. The health risk this poses to my self and your guests is the equivalent to having rats and cockroaches infesting a commercial kitchen. This led me to look around the room even more, and I discovered how filthy the curtains were, and how bad the floors were. The floors were that bad that I had dirty feet walking around the room even after I had a shower and scrub them.||||Now I have had some pretty good stays in your hotel and some pretty good feeds, but last nights experience has me questioning whether I want to return.||||I travel a lot for work and stay in a lot of different Hotels and Motels, needless to say this has taken the cake for the filthiest room I have...

As restaurant owners we are naturally critical when visiting other eateries, but we give credit where it is due. Our visit to the queen's beach was absolutely superb. So much so that we came back the following night, last night. The place has a great aesthetic and we were informed newly renovated. Great feel. Both nights we visited the pub was very busy. Plenty of parking. On our first night the food was a little slow but we were advised of an hour wait when ordering so it was expected. My goodness the food was worth waiting for... Delicious. I recommend the steak! The second night our food arrived more quickly and was just as good as the previous night. The bar staff were all friendly, but who stood out for us was the manager. Sasha took care of us both nights and was exceptional. Despite how busy it was she was friendly, attentive and took time to check how our meals were and thanked us for our patience. The table next to ours gave her a hard time when their food took too long but she handled it well and kept a smile on her face. My husband told her when we were leaving that he had never seen someone work so hard. On our second night our friends joined us and we stayed for drinks after our meal. We had a lovely evening. They were equally as impressed. We will definitely return next time we are in...
