Before we got our food I would've reviewed this place maybe 4 stars. It's not bad, looks clean food prices are reasonable, they have an ok ish outside seating area. We ordered 2 karage burgers, two drinks and a kid's scrambled eggs. Scrambled eggs were fast, drinks as well. Ice long black was smooth, according to my wife. I don't know coffee too much. My chai wasn't OMG, wasn't terrible either. I had better. They forgot about our karage burgers. Somewhere, something went wrong. After maybe 40 mins, I got concerned and I asked if our food it's still coming. Someone checked, told us there was a miscommunication and offered a refill while we were waiting (I'd like to think it was a free one since they made us wait). We declined, politely, as we were actually hungry. 10 mins later we received our food. Buns and chicken was good, chips were a bit too thin therefore a bit too oily. Mayo was good too. Too bad burger only had lettuce and cabbage other than mayo, bun and chicken. Was advertised as "Japanese coleslaw". Drinks on the menu were 4.50. for charged $5 because apparently they were "large" even though my chai was the normal glass. Long story short: given the fact that they messed up, they could've at least not charge us for the drinks. Or actually bring other drinks, even though we said no. They didn't even bother to brings us a new bottle of tap water. Or some ketchup for fries. I'm listing all the things that were wrong with this place because customer service was terrible. In my opinion 4.6 🌟 rating is not what I would describe the place and our visit. And not many...

Overall the environment is really nice, I got a decent to normal coffee, nice service, food was bad and over priced, food utensils are changed into paper ones which definitely affected the presentation. Would not come back or recommend for now until they have the same quality like the ones I saw online.

Whole story Was looking for a nice cafe for a brunch nearby and came across this cafe. Saw the nice rating supported by amazing environment and plating from the photos online. Upon arrival, environment is as good as the photo, spacious, stylish. They have their menu printed in (slightly bigger than) A4 stuck to the wall, not sure if it is a stylish decision but it is hard to read on seat with its thin font. It is also inconvenient for people sitting beside the wall to see the menu so we ended up taking a photo of the menu. I then ordered a chicken karage waffle and it was a bit underwhelming, presented in a cheap paper tray the food had a different look from what I saw online. The chicken is ovrer fried with slight black and the waffle taste and looked like it's a frozen product, I was charged $20 a rather high price for...

I visited this wonderful venue after reading all the excellent reviews. It did not disappoint me. We called and they were happy to reserve a table for my group. When we arrived we found a very clean well lit venue that was set out with good social distancing, a Covid check-in and complimentary hand sanitizer. The staff were all wearing mask but you could see the smile in their eyes. We decided we wanted to sit in a different area and the staff had no issue moving us. I had a mocha and my companions had flat whites. The temperature was spot on and they tasted delicious. We ordered Muffin Benedict and the Big Breakfast. The staff had no issue making a change to one of the meals. The meals arrived in a very fast fashion and just like the coffee they were delicious.

All in all this is an excellent breakfast venue with attentive...

Cute little cafe off the main roads doing a fabulous job. Another happy little accident to find this place, and I encourage you to make the effort to find it as well. Service was friendly. There are tables inside and outside (depending on mood or weather). Music (today at least) was pleasant enough...and... The food was outstanding (and hey.... That's the real reason to sit down and have breakfast anyway isn't it? Lol). Really fresh, really pretty and really tasty. Another one I have no hesitation in recommending. Today was Vegie Stack (Japanese Pancake) and Waffles Benedict. Both exceptionally tasty and extremely enjoyable. Brilliant. Compliments to the chef. And once again... Can't beat the service. Try it out, you'll be glad you did. I was.😁 Enjoy.
