We stopped into Grumpy and Lovely while staying in Brisbane on a trip of the East Coast. Service was brilliant, drinks and food is very reasonable. The bagels were exceptional. The coffee was gorgeous. One of us got a hot chocolate which we all sampled. After being in Australia a year we have voted it the best hot chocolate in Australia (one of us is a very big hot chocolate fan). The atmosphere was great and the owner is such a nice man. Junior makes an out-of-this-world bagel. Genuinely one of the best bagels I have ever had. Consistently good every time as well. Very fresh. You can tell he really cares about his food and his customers. The Acai Bowls come heavily recommended as well. But what really stands out is the service here.
