Read moreI’ve had plenty of bad experiences at this store, with the rare good experience here and there, but have never reviewed them. Tonight pushed me over the edge when, for the first time, I entered the store instead of going through drive through. The staff were doing their best but were struggling during a very busy period. I witnessed the most abysmal display of ‘leadership’ from the manager. The whole 20+mins I was waiting she was on a tablet at the front counter, constantly scrolling, huffing and puffing like her task was difficult. She didn’t acknowledge a customer standing in front of her for a good couple mins and then brushed them off. A staff member tried to tell her something important he had to take care of and she didn’t stop her mindless task to listen to him properly, didn’t once look up at him. Unfortunately this poor leadership filters down to a team that is trying to be self sufficient without a leader to keep them directed and motivated. The manager didn’t even have the insight to realise it wasn’t a good look to be at the counter if she had no intention to deal with customers or help her clearly stretched team. KFC Carindale would do well to replace this person with someone who wants their team and their store to succeed and improve their...
Read more6 customer reprentatives, apologies if some are not representatives. But 6 representatives and not one of them served me within 7 seconds. I've recently quit at Dominos and would race to greet any customer even if they werent I'd give $5 to anyone who'd knock me on my ass to get to the customer first its a great initiative. So after around 50seconds no joke I'm finally being served 2 lots of the 6 wicked wings combos for my gf and I. After paying waiting approximately just over 1 minute the manager is shouting not at one of the representatives thank god but shouting we will have wicked wings in about 15minutes. The representative must've been nervous now being that I've just started my new job i get that and so I said politely could i grab nuggets instead she said yes. All in all not too bad for the time of around 5-6 minutes instore i know it shouldve taken around 2-3 minutes at most but not too worried. but I think you should invest in some customer service group sessions to improve and also a serious management switch, it is directly on management and shift runners to set the tone for the shift after all i was a shift runner at dominos.
