Carindale Recreation Reserve — Attraction in Brisbane City

Its quite dated, there's not a great amount for kids really to do in terms of playground equipment. If your kids like running and scooting around open places then they'll love it. There isn't much for smaller children, my one year old struggles to climb on the space ship but there is a good swing that you can put your little one in and you can swing on the other side! Pretty cool. There's also an outside gym adjacent to the playground but too far away for you to work out while watching your kids play. Fantastic large space-themed playground with plenty of very creative and well designed equipment for children of all ages and abilities. Lots of shade (shade sails and trees), picnic shelters with bbq, lots of car parks. The space theme has been implemented very well, even a mars rover can be found. Great place to bring the grandkids to. They love the rocketship n they can push n pull different controls as well as slide off it. The climbing frame is high n has a resting place up the top. There is rubber on the ground and a couple of water bubblers. The merry-go-round has been out of action for at least a year, which is unfortunate, but the kids love jumping from half rubber ball to half rubber ball.
