This place is a Hidden Gem - we have been coming here for years - food has always been lovely, - plated up well, and a decent size , they CARE about what they serve you here - great chef and kitchen staff - The floor and bar staff are all super friendly, always happy and nothing is ever a bother to them. - Atmosphere is very modern , pleasant and relaxing - nice to sit outside also on the covered verandah with all the hanging plants , fans and the new renovations . Definitely a Great place to catch up with family or friends - they actually have a seperate function room for special occasions. They do daily specials for lunch and dinner ( super cheap ) and an extensive everyday menu at reasonable prices (our fav’s are the slow cooked lamb shanks , fall off the bone ribs , tender pork cutlet and the Reef n Beef :) and you’ve got to get one or two of their stone baked cheese and garlic pizza’s to share with your meals YUMMMMO they’re the bomb !!!!!!! Have been frequenting this pub since we moved into the area 22 years ago. Service has always been excellent in the past. We had our weekly dinner there last week and had the worst service imaginable. We turned up and went to the bar to order our meal and was told by the waitress that there would be an hours delay, we said that was fine and sat at the table and had a few drinks enjoying each other's company. After an hour we were approached by an abrupt waitress informing us that they had run out of salami and we either cancelled our pizza orders or got our money back. We suggested that maybe they could source some from the local IGA in the same complex. Was told that was not an option and just make up our minds. We decided that we would go ahead without the salami. Never got an apology or offer of a discount. When the two pizzas finally arrived after 2 hours the waitress (different one) presented the pizzas. We asked nicely which ones she had she responded "I don't know. You ordered them!" The manager came over to clear our plates when it was time to leave and she collected the plates and informed us in a stern tone. Very nice Pub in a small shopping village. Friendly helpful staff. Clean modern premises. Has 2 distinct areas, a completely separate gaming area and also a bar centred around dining. Has small sports bar type area within that but it's focus is on the dining experience. Very nice layout. And different types of seating available.. inside or enclosed but open outer area. Good quality meals and decent portions. Slightly more expensive than other places but fairly good value and above average quality and does have specials. The gaming area is terrible stay away 🤭 No it's not, it's what I would say is the best in the area. It's only small to medium size.. maybe 40 machine's. Has complimentary soft drinks that you can serve yourself and has about 5 flavours to choose from. Has free hot snacks that are bought out occasionally or are in a hotbox. Ive seen biscuits there before, has a popcorn machine. Also has a robot that also occasionally does a lap of the gaming room loaded with chips lollies and other snacks! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Has 2 daily gaming promotions double majors from 10am to 11am, then again at night 11pm to 12pm.. so if you get a major during these hours you get it doubled!
