Have been going to this restaurant regularly for four years, it used to be the best Thai around but over the last year or so I've noticed a steady decline in food quality and service. Over a number of recent visits I've been served raw chicken, frozen spring rolls, had takeaway orders lost and been left waiting for extremely long periods of time. My most recent visit included needing to ask twice to place our order, being constantly overlooked by staff and having to follow up on drinks orders. While the food was OK the entire experience was extremely poor and along with our other recent experiences, sadly we won't be ever going back. Also, a number in our group commented later that they hadn't slept/felt well following the meal and wondered if the food had something added to it (MSG perhaps). When I mentioned my experience to a colleague she commented she'd recently had takeaway from there and on getting home realised the order was mixed up so that her dietry requirements weren't met. When she drove back to Tarragindi Thai (quite time consuming and inconvenient especially when hungry!!!) to request the food be remade, staff were extremely rude to her and wanted to know why she couldn't just eat the food as it was, which was not possible. She'd made her requests for a very good reason! Avoid. There are many other places in the area with better food and better service which deserve your custom much more...

29.3.2025 Bought mixed entree for 2 person, excellent. Also bought beef curry and coconut rice. The coconut rice was an improvement on last time. The beef curry had a thick layer of that orange seed oil sitting on top of the curry. This has never happened before and very disappointing. Oh Monk! I must try another Thai Restaurant in Tarragindi!

24.1.2025 Ordered takeaway. Dishes were very nice. But i paid for coconut rice and got steamed rice. I suggest you check your order when picking up. This was very disappointing.

It was a quite nicely decorated little restaurant. The entrees (spring rolls, money bags - particularly nice, curry puffs) were fast and tasty. We ordered a few curries for mains, all were very nice. I especially liked their Moreton Bay bugs - very yummy. Chicken Pad Thai however was not the best we had - it was a bit dry. Desserts were nicely plated and tasted very nice too.

The food might've been a bit too salty as I woke up during sleep and had a very dry mouth/throat.

I also enjoyed their customer service very much, which made up the stars to 4 instead of 3 due to the over-saltiness.

Overall I think it's a good place to dine in...

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy, giving off a wonderful Thai vibe. The food is not just tasty but also comes in large servings. Our Tom Kha and Pad Thai were standout, loaded with plenty of shrimp, a feature that sets it apart from other places. What truly amazed us was the dessert – a whole mango paired with a generous serving of sticky rice. We're definitely planning to return!

Had a meal here on Saturday night . As you can see by the photos the meals tasted as good as they looked. Ambience is fine, service good to a point. Entree came out in a timely fashion. Main course for my partner came out and 20 minutes later, after we asked and she was finished her main course my fish came out. What can i say evening was spoiled, but the food is good. Make up your own mind.

I enjoyed my experience here. It’s a bit more laid back as you go up to order but the staff was very friendly and polite. The food was quite good and very cheap, we ordered about 9 dishes and the total came to just under $200. The curry wasn’t at all spicy which i would prefer if it were, but otherwise my family and I quite liked the restaurant and will probably be coming back.
