Disappointing and weird experience with the owner refusing to provide soap for the bathroom as it ‘creates too much mess’. She provided hand sanitiser when I asked for it and argued with me when I said it was unsanitary to wash hands with water only especially where people are preparing food and eating. She said she uses another bathroom. Well good for you lady but what about everyone else. I was a bit too grossed out to then eat my $15 one scone and tea (black teabag with hot water). My friend asked for a glass of water after buying several bottles of jam, sauces as well as scones and tea and was told she needs to buy it in a bottle due to the business being on a tank with water restrictions. Meanwhile there’s enough water to serve tea and coffees. No access allowed to see the berry plants or farm, or to hear about the process, just a money making exercise.

Read moreBrought nine tourists 🚌there today and half of us be immediately asked to wait outside(not even allow us to stay at an empty dining room) from a tough-acting lady👱🏻😡. “just let them wait outside until more capacity. I will introduce everything because they have no idea what to do here anyway" as she said🗣️. Wow, impressive, we were just shocked there like soaked dogs🐶🐶 and my clients refused to step in anymore🤷🏻♂️ We respect the policy of crowd control but there was no need to act tough with an attitude of 'I hate tourists'. Try learn some customer service from the honey farm where 200-times traffic than you 🚐🚐🚐🚌🚌🚌🚍🚍🚍

Was expecting beautiful Bruny Island Sour dough with gorgeous Bruny island cheese and relish, not the soggy store bought, Pre made sandwich we all received. Scones with jam and cream were good but scone not heated but surprisingly the banana crepe was delicious. I hope as it is just the start of the season this will improve. So much gorgeous Bruny Island produce, a shame you...
