Huntington Estate — Restaurant in Buckaroo

Myself and partner have purchased multiple cases of wine from Huntington’s over the year and put aside a Bottle of the 2013 Black label Cab Sav to open at 12am on New Year’s Day. Unfortunately when we opened the bottle it tasted as though it had gone off even though it had been stored as recommended since we purchased it which was a little unexpected and disappointing.

However, I emailed the winery and explained the issue and almost immediately Maddi responded, offered her apologies and organised for a replacement to get dropped to our front door a couple of days later.

My mum and I visited the Huntington Estate on the weekend. We did a wine tasting there and we were very well looked after by Janet who was friendly and made us feel relaxed. Janet was very knowledgeable about the wine, she told us interesting facts about the various wines and what they would be best to go with and on what occasions.

She was very attentive to when we were and weren't ready for our next tasting, then poured enough to pass the 3 sip test so we could actually taste the wine. Overall a really wonderful experience, thank you Janet! We will be sending all our friends from Sydney to Huntington Estate for more...

Amazing wines and an in-depth wine tasting experience. Their Chardonnay and Grenache is out of this world! We had an extremely generous cheese platter for one for only $35 which filled the 2 of us up. The smoked duck was an absolute stand out from the platter. For mains, the lamb shoulder was perfectly cooked and huge portion. Love how pet friendly this place is. Even the workers took the time to say hello and interact with our dog. Will definitely...
