Gidji cafe — Restaurant in Burnett Heads

We were out checking the port area and saw the Gidgi cafe and had recalled seeing it advertised so we gave it a go. Price was right and the service was pleasant making you feel welcome. My wife had the lemon Myrtle calamari salad and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. I really enjoyed my steak sanga but was jealous of my wife’s dish. The perfect place to stop before heading out on a whale watching tour. Coffee was great as was the scrambled eggs on toast I had for breakfast. But what was even more amazing was the customer service. Super friendly and so willing to accommodate us on their first day back open under new management.
