Lakeside Cafe in Burrill Lake is an absolute gem! Conveniently located on Balmoral Road, just 30 meters past the post office on the way to the boat ramp, it’s the perfect spot for a delicious meal or coffee break.

The food here is outstanding – I’ve tried both the steak sandwich and the eggs Benedict burger, and they were perfection! The steak sandwich was packed with flavor and cooked just right, while the eggs Benedict burger was a creative twist on a classic that I can’t stop raving about.

To top it off, they serve Grinders Coffee, which is smooth and full-bodied – exactly what you need to start your day or enjoy with your meal.

We were driving by this small little town and found this recommendation on trip advisor as one which serves indian food. We drove by and just arnd the lake front is this little cafe. This cafe is run by a couple who served food with all big smiles. We ordered toasties as we were looking for vegan or vegetarian food. They offered us to taste the eggplant dish which to our amazement was really wonderful.

A simple drive through for food got us to know each other and they even offerred us to come visit them again and stay over at their place the next time. We had a good stop and we made the right choice. Both husband and wife are very humble and down to earth. It's a must visit if you are around in this town.

Lunch time visit on a weekday. Service at the counter was reasonably prompt, but definitely not friendly or welcoming. English is not the first language here which is only a problem because I only speak English. I ordered a burger and coffee and as I wanted a burger with the lot it was a challenge to get this across. At 32 dollars I'm a non returning customer as the expense is completely unjustified. The meal took quite a while to turn up and the chips were only warm. The food was nice enough as far as takeaway goes. Tables were not clean and we had to look around to find one suitable to use. This 32 dollar meal was underwhelming given the price and wait.
