The Glades Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Byford

Need proper management instead of kids running it. 3rd time now ive made a phone order where it has taken an hour to make my order. After calling 10mins later I was there to pay for my order where as people walked in approximately 8 customers and orders after me but also got served and left before me. 45mins after paying for my order I approached them, they then proceeded to gather my order where I had watched Pluto pups sitting there for atleast 30mins, they were going to wrap it up. Also served me cold fish. It's not the 1st time either. I am 30weeks pregnant and should not have been served food that has been sitting for that long. I understand they are a busy store. But that was not acceptable. They need a proper manager that knows how to organise staff with the amount of orders they have. The food is usually really good there hence why we go back, but unfortunately have now lost us a family of 7 as customers. Ps. Your staff also undercharged me again. So your missing out on...

Some nights there are fantastic staff working, other nights (usually weekends) totally opposite. For six months now I have called ahead to order. Every single time I ask what kind of shark they have, the answer is always "new shark or old shark". Roughly half the time I can get a real answer by waiting for them to ask several staff members. Tonight I listened to the person ask at least five of their colleagues. They couldn't tell me. The person who answered to phone agreed that this wasn't good but said there was no one else to ask. So we ordered from there website. For a 7pm pick up. The 1st piss off the night was a extra fee for using their on line order function. At least state there's a extra cost. But the worst thing is how long we waited for this order. Got to shop about 7.05. Waited in shop, went up to counter was ignored by staff. Waited, waited waited. Tried to get staff attention was still ignored. At 7.59 we finally got our food. Disgraceful Chips were good, fish was OK some pieces where strong in flavour.
