Délice Providore — Restaurant in Canowindra

Honestly this is one of the best cafes we have been to in a long time.. We were staying in town for family and visited this place regularly on our stays for brunch and lunch Can totally recommend the baguettes!! The smoked chicken one is probably one of the most delicious items I have had.. the combination of flavours were mouth watering.. the baguette bread itself was fresh every time we had one Close 2nd was the smoked salmon one (I usually don’t like smoked salmon) but this changed my ways and again the flavours really made this a memorable lunch

Home made quiche was also very good

This place has a little deli section at the front and great for picking cheeses and meats for platters with wines or picnics.

The Biltong I bought for the hubby was also give the thumbs up

The staff made us feel welcome everytime we came and were very friendly and accomodating

Went here for breakfast this morning. Ordered coffee and fruit toast for two. Coffee arrived and it was good. When the fruit toast arrived I was quite shocked when I only got one slice. I paid $7.50 for 1 slice of toast. So just imagine this loaf would be around 10-12 slices. So say 10 slices at $7.50 per slice that’s a $75 loaf of bread. So say they paid $10 for that loaf that’s $65 profit on one loaf of bread. Would it kill you to give your customers 2 slices of toast. We purchased two servings of toast. So we should have got 4 slices. We paid for...

Great hidden cafe of Canowindra.. place better known for Hot Air Balloons plus its Fossilized Fish and Main Street 😃 This is not on the well trod path..but deserving of being its own destination. I dont really give 5⭐ reviews as there is no way to get better..yet there always is!! So a well deserved 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me . menu choice for me Smoked chook baguette.. mug-o-latte. Some nice surprises in the shop as well.. but i wont ruin...
