Just thought we’d pop in for some dinner after stopping overnight at the local Caravan Park, before heading off to Coral Bay.
Atmosphere was a relaxed local vibe, no frills and down to earth. Could not of asked for more in terms of friendliness, location to where we were based for the night, and the food…. well, for a somewhat lowkey pub (& hotel) this place put to shame many a local pubs back in Perth, WA!!!
Dinner was fresh, tasty, ample servings and 100% satisfied with the cost of the meals. The staff, although somewhat unassuming, were friendly and had a keen sense of being genuine and helpful within their roles.

Read moreBackpacker rooms were about $30 per night, you had no double beds besides the cabin rooms which were $120per night, so we had to go with one of them. We got let into our room & there were cockroaches & insects everywhere inside, and considering this is one of your best rooms, this is not good enough. The only cups you left for us to drink from were filthy & had bugs in them. As well as the kettle. We kept all the windows & doors shut yet still got mauled by Mosquitos. Tv cord also didn't work so were led in silence for the whole stay. So maybe check your seals, electronics & for bugs before...
Read moreRolled into the hotel restaurant after a full day on the road with my wife and newborn and as soon as we walked in, the lady at the bar was very accommodating and suggested we sit at a lower table to help with the baby.
Very friendly and good service.
Food took an average time to prepare, and it was delicious.
Fresh calamari and the steak were of good quality.
Overall, we had a great experience and definitely worth a visit on your way...
