AloyThai Takeaway shop — Restaurant in Cootamundra

I walked into the shop and first saw the pre-made (choice) food sitting in the display — it looked like an Asian-style mix. But luckily, I noticed the à la carte menu and decided to order stir-fry basil beef.

The staff (friendly and welcoming!) asked, “How spicy would you like it? Mild, medium, or Thai spicy?”

I smiled and said, “Thai spicy, please — just like back home!” Honestly, I didn’t expect much, because most Thai food in Australia tends to lean toward Thai fusion flavors.

But wow — omg — the taste was amazing. Spicy, flavorful, truly Thai! With the new owner, Thai chef, and such a friendly team, this place really delivers. I’ve tried Thai food in many cities, but here, if you ask for authentic Thai taste, you won’t be disappointed.
