The Outback Bakery — Restaurant in Cootamundra

We stopped at Cootamundra just on lunchtime in need of a good homemade pie, we’re so glad we found this bakery as it’s probably the best and most flavoursome pepper steak pie that I’ve ever tasted. If i was rating for only customer service I would give 5 stars . The girls were very friendly and welcoming. However, the baked items (I ordered quiche and vanilla slice) . This was an interesting contrast. The choc covered donut was terrible. It has obviously been sitting around a long time as the donut had gone hard like a biscuit. The choc top was ok but the donut really killed it. The sausage roll on the other hand was a good solid 3 star roll. Nothing fancy filling wise but with a nice flaky pastry. Staff were friendly....
