Cafe Zestt — Restaurant in Crookwell

I was passing through Crookwell with my husband and stopped at this cafe as it looked lovely. I explained on entering I have a mask exemption, proceeded to a table. Once sitting a worker came over snd stated she need to see my exemption I explained to her this is NOT the case and there was no need for her to see my exemption ( medical certificate) this is a invasion of privacy. The only person who needs to see it under the rule is the police if I am asked to produce it, however it is not law therefore I do not have to show it up a police officer and would win in a court of law. But anyway showed her the government website where it states I do not need to show her. She then went on to blame her boss and state her boss asked her to check. I wish shop owners would educate themselves without just assuming. Also I wrote a message to this shop owner and gave not received any reply I was nice about explaining the rules and including some government websites for info. But not even a reply. I then went on to Facebook left a comment and i was blocked and my comment removed. Not real good for business to ignore customers and not address concerns. I did not get what I ordered, when I raised this when the order came I was told this was how it was served. When finished, the waitress asked how the meal was, despite it not being served how I expected, I told her what I had ordered. Her response, oh the girl must have entered the order incorrectly.

I was only able to eat a small amount of it, as I have food allergies and didn't know what was in it. I had an allergic reaction.

Ridden past this cafe several times. My mate booked a table for our group ride breakfast and we were well looked after. Very friendly staff. Orders were brought to the table, for everyone, amazingly quick. I had soft poached eggs with bacon and the owner said they were cooked by the new apprentice, so good, that apprentice will go far.
