We have been to Culburra a couple of times before and the only option for drinks was the Bowlo, nothing wrong with it but this place is way cooler and has a outdoor area. Really lovely, friendly helpful people, good choice of drinks including house brewed and other local beers on tap and in tinnies. As our 18 year old son said this place has a really mellow Aussie feel to it, like a modern beer garden. Outside area is dog friendly for on-leash friendly dogs. Reasonable prices and interesting local spirits. We only had some French fries but there’s other food like burgers and pork buns. I’m fairly sure there’s easy wheelchair access via the gate which is also recommended for prams and dogs. We look forward to coming back for another longer visit soon.

Came here to visit as we were told it was good, called beforehand to check they were serving and had space. Ordered at 6:45pm told there would be a 40 minute wait. After 1 hour and 15 minutes finally received 2 mushroom tacos with one cm of red capsicum on each taco and 2 little slices of mushroom. These cost $15. The young waiter who served us looked depressed and walked at snail pace to deliver the two tacos. When asked about our chips and burger, we’re told they would still be coming. I’m sure their service is usually better but communication is key. If the chef wasn’t available we should of been informed from the start

Our group visited on a Saturday night, and the long wait was incredibly frustrating. We were drip-fed our dishes one by one, with even the two bowls of chips arriving over an hour apart. They didn't take reservations or inform us about the wait time before ordering. The food was mostly enjoyable, though the mushroom tacos were a letdown — small, lacking filling, and lacking flavor. We ordered one version without sprouts and the serving sizes were very different. The staff were struggling to keep up.

Tonight I had the pleasure of grabbing a takeaway burger at The Common, a small relaxed coastal vibe restaurant with a cozy ambience and friendly staff. My visit left a lasting impression, with their delicious mushroom burger and exceptional service making it a memorable experience. One of the highlights of my meal was the mushroom burger. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and taste. The burger was carefully prepared, with a perfectly grilled mushroom steak that was juicy, flavorful, and packed with earthy goodness. It was a delightful departure from traditional burger options, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian patrons alike. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience was had by all. Their friendliness, warmth, and genuine hospitality to everyone who they served created an inviting atmosphere that made me feel like a valued customer. Their attentiveness to my needs and preferences, including dietary restrictions, was very appreciated. Despite the small size of the restaurant, they adeptly managed the flow of customers, ensuring prompt and attentive service without...

Best meal of my life! Two friends and I were lucky to dine at the common just as the kitchen was closing. I ordered the mushroom burger, and as a vegetarian from Sydney, I can say it was the best burger I've had in years. The mushroom was tasty and cooked well. There was a superb balance with the smokey barbecue sauce. The colslaw style salad provided a lovely bite and the sprouts gave it a fresh burst of flavour. The brioche bun was substantial, and didn't wither away as they usually do. And the portion size was perfect for me. The staff were friendly and efficient. I can't wait to go back, and I'll be recommending The Common to all my friends. Thanks The Common South Coast,...
