Criterion Hotel Dalby — Restaurant in Dalby

Tonight 19 december at the criterion was a ok the parmy was great for parmy night Wednesdays. But the quantity for the cheesey pasta probably wouldnt suit a child above 5 yrs old could be improved but it was still nice flavours thru dish. Staff always friendly. The table wasnt where i would of liked it considering i booked it and ask for other side of place not at the bar area with arcade games. But u can't win them all.

There again 17 October 2018 went to the wednesday night double parmys night well worth it still get a lot of salad and chips with the two parmy schnitzel. With a variety of toppers too.

4 months ago Great place to eat got the full USA ribs for $32 it was worth it meat falling off the bone. Also got the 5 kids meals and chicken schnitzel. All meal cane out hot and quick as per order. Kids meals come with free ice cream and a good serving for kids. If you got 5 or more people good to book ahead. This is a Friday night and it was a little busy by 7pm this night. I called to order takeaway for my family at 8pm just after we arrived at the caravan park after an 8 hour drive. I made an order for 4 people and they took my name and number and told me they would phone me when the order was ready for collection. After 45 minutes of not hearing from them I decided to walk around from the caravan park to the restaurant to see if it was ready. I was greeted by an obnoxious patronising and extremely unhelpful waitress who took less then a minute to look around for my order to then tell me there was no record of it despite me showing evidence of the 3 minute phone call we had 45 minutes earlier. Then she proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do about it in a curt and unprofessional way that the kitchen has closed at 8:30pm. Wow, just had a weekend at the Dalby Fairway Motor Inn and we had our meals and drinks at the Criterion Hotel. What a perfect holiday. Criterion Hotel is full of fun, staff are great and boy the meals were just perfect. The rooms and fireplace was very nice, kept the history of the building. Music at 8pm was great for all ages. Even though the restaurant tables were all full, we watched large tables of guest all served different meals they ordered all at the same time, this was amazing, don't see that in the city or many places! We did not wait long for our meals and so clean and yummy. The staff all were happy and busy. Well done to the manager on such a great pub.
