What a beautiful and peaceful place to take your family. The kids area is beautiful and filled with enough toys and equipment to cater from babies to teenagers. The food is delicious and big portions. Friendly staff. Recommendation: The gate at the kids section is left open as children come in and out (obviously not reading the sign that said keep the gate closed) this cause parents to get up to close the gate multiple times. My suggestion would be to place a spring door closer used to automatically close the gate after it has been opened, and It is designed to provide controlled closing of the gate aswell as many people slams the gate which I can assume will harm the hinges after a while. This could also help the waitresses if their hands are full and can't close the gate behind them.

Attended afternoon tea with family on the 28th of May. We ordered two drinks (espresso frappe and iced mocha with cream and ice cream) and a meal (chicken burger with a side of hollandaise sauce and 1 hashbrown) We waited over half an hour for both meal and drinks, the meal was served cold, hashbrowns undercooked and hollandaise sauce was actually margarine. The mocha which was requested to have cream and ice cream, the lady at till asked if it was the iced drink ( ice cream and cream) instead of the on ice drink ( ice cubes) which was confirmed - yes. This drink was served as on ice..... My family and I are very disappointed in the quality of meal & drinks served, after hearing positive reviews & recommendations from friends about Urban Paddock.

We absolutely love Urban Paddock. Found it by accident on a drive one day and, just can't find enough words to praise this gem of Dalby. The property is an historic landmark building for Dalby and the story is a lovely read. It has been set up with care not to obliterate the past and also has a gift shop with a great gift selection including lovely gourmet food selections. The food is top-notch. Not only is it refreshingly different from anywhere else (and I've eaten all over the world), it is satisfying and comforting and the portions are ample. My favourites are the Lamb Burger and the Chilli Lime Squid Salad. We drive from Kingaroy just for lunch and it's worth it every time.

My partner and I ordered 2 drinks to go on the 13/04, a berry bang smoothie and a green crusher. We waited roughly 20 minutes until our order was called out. During our time waiting for the drinks, we noticed there were so many staff, but not a lot of work being done. We ordered after 2pm so it was well after the lunch rush. The girl who made our drinks kept stopping what she was doing and looking around very lost. There seemed to be no organisation or flow between the coworkers, so everyone was getting in everyone’s way. Once we finally received our drinks, we tried them and they were absolutely terrible. We paid $9.50 for each drink, only got about 600ml of drink, the cups they were in weren’t even filled up all the way. The smoothie I had wasn’t fully blended so there were chunks of banana floating in the drink and the overall taste was not favourable. I tried my partners drink (green crusher) and it tasted artificial and cheap. He did not enjoy his drink either. We both ended up throwing the drinks in the bin without even finishing them. What a waste of $20! I think some serious training needs to be done in this place. The overall vibe and atmosphere was nice, lots of money has gone into the look of the place. Staff were friendly but a lot of them looked lost and confused and not sure of what they were doing. The food pricing is comparable to what you would find in a big city such as Brisbane, although we didn’t eat here, we’re quite glad that after trying the drinks we didn’t spend more money there. When looking at the menu, we saw the steak was roughly $40, but being the the beef capital area, it was shocking to see the...

Potential to be the best cafe on the Western Downs. Love that this place is dog friendly but only on the frontside tables - which can be very hot and sunny. The food is lovely, very talented chefs that always keep me interested and intrigued. The drink options are plentiful. A great variety across the board with healthy and heavy meals. I would like to see a bigger variety for dietary restrictions like gluten and dairy free pancakes, or panko crumbed fish etc. Love the salads and the avocado toast. The service is a bit slow and there is always a huge line to order so arrive early and expect up to a 20min wait to order. Also you have to choose a table first and give the table number when you order which is annoying when you finish ordering and go to sit down and someone has taken that table. Then you have the hassle of lining up again, changing the table number and only part of your order making it to your new table number and the other going to the old table number - just not a system that works well. I feel that this place could really level up and they had table service or alternatively have QR codes on the tables so we can order our own in a timely manner. It would really make this place standout...

I went there for breakfast on my day off, was told waiting time was 30-45 mins(which was expected as it was busy) waited an hour and a half for eggs Bennie and savory mince, and 2 juices, ordered an iced coffee while waiting which took 45 mins, all up without the iced coffee paid $55 to get a cold breakfast and warm juice that sat there for half an hour because they couldn't find our table apparently,my partner also went to desk at about the hour mark to enquire and was told that they would correct it for her, food portions were tiny, staff was not at all helpful, when I told them I wasn't happy with the service they said "sorry about that" and when I told them I was going to give them a bad review they simply said "that's fine" I now have diarrhea, was started as breakfast turned into a lunchtime which was a waste of my morning off, I'm not someone who would usually write reviews because quite frankly I usually don't care that much so this shows how disappointed I truly was don't go out for breakfast or dinner Much so I was about experience considering it was a...
