Rivadestra Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Darlington Point

A 100% pleasurable dining experience. Two of us had pasta dishes and both were exceptional, pretty clearly lovingly made from the best ingredients and with great skill. I'm guessing old family recipes? The gelatos were the same, mouthful after mouthful of bliss. Aparently made absolutely from fresh ingredients with for example the pestatios roasted in house. While there was a continuous turn over of take away custom we were the only sit down diners but on a thursday in a country town I guess thats average. Amazing food, service and atmosphere! Didn't bat an eye at having two very visibly queer people taking the centre window seat on Saturday night. We felt very welcome and will definitely be back.

We've been travelling across the country and were looking for a nice little town to stop for our last night before hitting the east coast. We chose Darlington Point just for Rivadestra after reading the reviews and we're so glad we did!

We had garlic prawns, pizza and pasta fine in and have bought a little tin of home made sorbet back to the hotel for dessert. Everything we ate was hand made and delicious.

Travelling with friends when we came across this delightful family run restaurant. First impression was a cafe style take away which changed as we sat down and took in the traditional Italian ambience comprising original art, stylish light fixings and soft background Italian music.
