Firstly this gem is hiding in plain sight. Is on the main drag in town and still has old signage from the previous old shop. Once you walk in you are hit with history and then a old school dinner. This place looks like it exists through 2 or 4 points of time. The service top notch and is consistent with the service in the whole town. Food is amazing nostalgic and delicious. This is one of those time capsules that truly needs preserving. Definitely can't wait until my next time passing through.

Been on road camping for over 2 months. This is the best veggie burger I’ve had on the road. Fresh, in house made Pattie. Also, store made kombucha. A lovely gesture to give me a top up too. Fun decor, would be good if you had signage out front. Can see why you get such high ratings, well deserved. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

Great place to have a lunch on my way south. The place has fun 50s decor and the prices are great! I got the freshly cooked flathead burger for $11 and homemade chicken satay skewers with lovely satay sauce that was fresh and zingy and just a bit spicy. Lovely lovely place. Will be back when I travel North back up to QLD again.

A great reproduction of the '50s diner " Happy Days"style. Magnificently upholstered chairs , you have to see them and feel them . While we were there eating ( cheeseburger in my case and bloody good too!) Who should walk in , order food and sit down to eat?? None other than Elvis ( well an impersonator Anyway) Was going to ask him for a photo but didn't want to intrude. So next time you're driving down the New England Hwy , stop in have a look and have a bite , the food Is great as is the service. Well worth it... who knows you may...

Lovely owners, wonderful food that makes you feel like you're back at home eating your favourite homecooked meal and A+ friendly/warm customer service. This isn't just an awesome vintage styled restaurant in a friendly town. It's got an antique section and a hunting/camping style shop front running inside.

Honestly one of the most unique and friendly experiences to have. I...
