I am making an update to previous review. Stopped in for lunch today on our way on holidays. Expecting the same service as before but NO. The grey-haired lady who served us make us feel like we were making her go out of her way. I wanted a salad roll made I was told to go to the counter and order, and it would be made (no problem) but the lady who served us at register had major attitude. You would have thought we asked her for the world. So grumpy and didn't want to speak. Ignored my husband who was right beside me, and I said to her he needs to order as well. She was annoyed when hubby asked what was in the pies.

The salad roll made by sandwich counter was delicious and pie was nice too, but the service was awful. I get its Friday but at least be happy and professional in your job. Customers aren't always nice I get it, but we were. Disappointed. Not sure we would go back based on...

Have been a few times now and never had the experience I had today. Visited today as a family of 4, placed a decent order 60 + dollars. Asked for a triple shot medium flat white. Politely told the barrister the coffee was and actually not very nice and not to the normal standard to which she argued the amount of coffee shots, told me to pay for extra / another coffee. Eventually agreed to re make the coffee only to make snarky comments when she handed it over. Got in the car to realise my partners panini was not supplied. He returned to the shop to be told to pay for another and secondly that they had sold out. It was eventually supplied but the whole experience was appalling. Polite good customers ridiculed...

The coffee here is really nice. The pastry on the sausage rolls was crisp and crunchy. Just perfect to eat. The meat was well seasoned, moist and very tasty. The jelly butterfly cakes are made with real cream. The creams not too sweet so it compliments the raspberry jelly really well The mini apple cakes are full of apple (there were no air pockets in them, just apple) and there are no nasty attack sultanas hiding from you ready to strike when you arent looking πŸ˜‰. The pastry was short without being crumbly a d it wasnt overcooked and hard. The icing on the top was just right. It's a very well...

Lovely bakery, delicious coffee. Wish they had a price list displayed, makes it difficult to decide what you want when you can't add up the hill prior to ordering. Stopped here based on the previous review of the breakfast pie from a couple of years ago (showing open top covered with ample cheese and bacon, with creamy egg white underneath), it's changed since then which was disappointing - still yummy, but a little dry and not quite what I was hoping for.

Award winning sausage rolls? C'mon guys, you can't just say that and serve up this... Ive tested a lot of sausage rolls in Vic, NSW and SA, and this is in my bottom 3, slightly beating Glenrowan and Wodonga, but only just. So in a comp of only those 3, yes award winning πŸ˜• Vanilla slice, not up to standard. Base way too hard and very average.

On a recent road trip I set out to try the vanilla slices of many a bakery in Victoria, NSW, and SA. I'm pleased to say that the vanilla slice I had from Deniliquin Bakery was the absolute winner by a country mile, and I would rate it as the best I've had to date, even despite buying it right on closing time. 10/10 in every category!
