Lovely location near the bridge and surprisingly tranquil considering the open plan and larger tables of "ladies-who-lunch". Service was prompt and attentive yet relaxed enough not to be rushed. We ordered the Lamb salad, Duck breast salad and the Steak Bavette as well as coffees. Both the lamb and duck were well seasoned and nicely rare inside. The salads on which they lay were fresh. The steak was likewise cooked well and sitting on a piece of sourdough and caramelised onions. A small basket of not quite crunchy fries accompanied. All dishes were small in serving portions especially for the price and compared to local alternatives. The coffee is from a Melbournian Flinders lane roaster and quite mild. If you're ever in Deni; it's definitely worth a visit.

The most delightful of cafes in the region! We stopped here early on a Sunday morning and were greeted by friendly staff and we sat by the fireplace (gas one). First our coffees come out, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, espressos… all so magnificent and you can tell they use freshly roasted beans! Bravo to the barista! Next came out breakfast… absolute gourmet! We weren’t expecting this in Deni on a Sunday morning! We all had a great time and even ordered more coffee for our road trip (we are from Darwin NT!) If I lived in Deni, I’d live in this cafe every morning! Great staff, beautiful by the river, amazing tucker and most of all, the best coffee we had in the region. Well done, very impressed!

The location is easy to find. Has parking and that's about it. The menu isn't very varied or impressive. The menu is also incredibly expensive. The staff were semi friendly for about 1 mintue and then just straight up ignored us for 10 mins. We ended up leaving without getting food. Also all of the drinking glasses were marked and dirty. Wouldn't recommend.

HORRIFIC experience, VERY unprofessional and DISGUSTING treatment by staff! I went to the Cafe with my partner for a nice breakfast- all we received was rudeness. I chose a breakfast & advised them of my food allergies (gluten & dairy), the waitress came and said i couldn't have my chosen meal due to dairy & would have to pick something else. No worries, due to the limited menu i had about 2 meals to choose from so i picked another, & asked if i could have Avo on the toast instead of feta. The waitress replied with ' we cant change the menu, it takes too much time for the chefs & we are too busy'! After that we thanked her & politely advised we would pay for the coffee but will have to eat else where due me being unable to eat anything there. The waitress then turned to my partner and said " so your not eating either'? after he said 'no sorry, we wanted to have breakfast together', she snatched the menus and stormed off. I have NEVER felt so unwelcome at a cafe and i would not recommend anyone to eat here. They should take into consideration and have a bit more kindness peoples allergies.

On the upside we went to Bronte's and had a...
