It takes a lot for me to post a bad review (this is my first ever), but I felt the need to warn others here 😢

While lining up I could see lots of staff including 4 of them in the kitchen, standing around laughing and eating their own breakfasts while customers who had ordered were looking frustrated with empty tables. I should have listened to instinct at this point and walked away 😔

We ordered juice and coffee, scrambles and smashed avo. I offered to give the lady my table number when ordering it, but she said it wasn’t needed 🤔

Outdoor chairs were broken, and we watched as other customers came in and shuffled seating around to find one that would work. Drinks and food would occasionally come out, with the waitresses yelling out what they had in their hands due to no name and no table number taken with the order, and more often than not it would go back to the kitchen with questions.

Our coffee arrived after half an hour, and our food after an hour. The coffee would have been ok if it wasn’t lukewarm. The food was overpriced: cheap bread, tasteless scrambles and avocado.

It’s such a shame, as the location is beautiful and it could have been a great experience if the staff were trained up and there was someone there who cared enough to take the reins in the kitchen and...

We came here early (7:15am) for a coffee. Ordered extra hot - it was tepid. We came back for brunch. Ordered extra extra extra hot coffee - it was still tepid. Although the coffee was good in flavour. The dumplings sounded great in the menu. They totally disappointed. 5 very small dumplings (about half the size of a normal dumpling, on top of a huge bowl of rice, 2 bits of wilted spinach and two very small bowls of sauce. Everything lacked flavour and there was a lot of rice compared to anything else - basically $5 worth of dumplings (that’s generous) which means the rice portion was worth $17. $22 in total - hugely overpriced for what you get. Nice location and view over the park. A self serve water station - with no glasses. Ask for glasses, they are stationed and give you one so say there are two of us. Breakfast menu extremely limited - no eggs at all - either smashed avo or granola and yoghurt. Maybe okay if you just want coffee and don’t...

Avo smash is $20 when gluten free. Literally just avo on toast with a couple small dishes of sambal and tomato chutney. Toast was GF bread straight out the supermarket white bread from the freezer and was soggy rather than toasted. Staff refused to add on a poached egg for extra $. “Set” menu has half the items crossed off permanently. Asked if they had gone vegan or something and was told “yeah something like that.” Then I spotted beef curry on the menu. Staff seem want to be anywhere but here and I can’t blame them. Have heard “Dreams” by Fleetwood 3 times in the last 15 minutes. Don’t know what’s happened here, feel like I’ve entered an alternate reality where service is a dirty word!

Used to come here a lot a few years ago but probably won’t be back. Hope they improve things when Mrs Jones...

Very underwhelming breakfast with little or no service. We always look forward to having breakfast in Australia as they are so innovative and well presented. Todays breakfast was the complete opposite and very disappointing. A big dollop of puréed Avo on untoasted bread presented on the smallest of plates. Unappealing looking scrambled eggs with a combination of ginger and spring onions that didn’t quite work. Packets of butter always a put off. For the price we paid I would definitely be looking elsewhere. As a side note, there are no toilets and you have to use the smelly toilets across the road at the park.
