Jila Gallery Cafe — Restaurant in Derby

What a lovely spot in a quiet town. The staff / owners were so nice - Luca and Ing. We had toasties, coffee, sausage rolls - all home made and delicious. Their dinner menu looks great but we were just passing by. Luca told us a lot about Derby and we even met a local Michael Gugeri- an author of a few books about the Kimberley region - what a lovely gentleman! We look forward to reading them. Nice attracting shop front. The bikes as well as the art presentation were a pleasant addition to the cafe. The coffee delivered as ordered. The cakes topped off our visit. We made a reservation for dinner that evening. The meals were excellent and I must mention that the staff went to a great amount of effort with the preparation of my wife's meal as she has a dietary issue. A big city cafe in a small town. Great little hub for a pizza in the evening eating in or take away. Inviting atmosphere with switched on staff always willing to help. Lots of interesting books to browse through whilst waiting for your food if taking away.Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful little haven in downtown Derby Western Australia.
