Brilliant burgers and atmosphere!
Brodburger is a staple of the Canberra food scene, and is well worth the experience. The Fyshwick location is the newest of the bunch. The burgers are huge and incredibly tasty, honestly I never buy fries because there is no way I can fit everything in. The prices are very affordable for the incredible pile of yummy food.
The service is friendly and very efficient. It amazes me that they can work in such a small location and still maintain professional attitude! Be aware that this is a crazy popular location so sometimes the wait times can be quite long. There is the ability to order a meal an advance and I would strongly suggest booking tables during popular periods (like Father’s Day, weekends etc).
There so a good amount of parking, and it’s pretty accessible. There are inside and outside tables, with plenty of space for large groups. It’s a very family friendly place. There are often outside games offered and live entertainment.
Being connected to the Capital Brewery, there are plenty of drink...
Read moreThere are 3 brodburger locations. One is a "food van" inside the Capital Brewery building, which is definitely hard to find, but excellent when you get there. Whether you drink beer or not, it has a fantastic ambience. Follow Newcastle Street in Fyshwick till it goes under the Monaro Highway and becomes Dairy Road. Turn in left to the seemingly back road and then right at the roundabout in that redeveloped area. The second location is also a "food van", definitely take away only, in Woden (Phillip), near the intersection of Hindmarsh Drive and Melrose Drive. Also easy to miss, it is a black van in the car park of Hip Pocket Work Wear, on Hindmarsh Drive. From KFC, it's the first carpark off Hindmarsh Drive, as you go towards Melrose Drive. The main/largest location is at Canberra Glassworks in Kingston, either of two entrances to the large car park off Eastlake Parade. This location has the most options/ingredients as it has a full kitchen. Yes I love Brod, Veg...
Read moreThis is a fantastic place to enjoy one of the tastiest burgers around, along with some of Canberra’s best craft beer in the same place . This place is huge offering inside and outside eating options. The last visit hear I noticed they had expanded and they have become very popular so the weekend can be quiet busy . One recommendation I could make is to have some sort of clock to give people a rough wait time on orders as we had a long wait over 1 h on food we where lucky we didn’t have time pressure this day, however some people do .
And I understand later after seeing other order numbers I had around 100 orders ahead of me so I understand why it took as long as it did .
Thanks for your great food...
