A beautiful spot for a walk with plenty of places to sit and listen to the amazing wildlife. We downloaded the app and listened to interesting information about the wetlands and the wildlife. The paths are stable to walk on, with some even being suitable for bikes and wheelchairs. We enjoyed the different viewing cabins with posters of the birds and animals.

Toilets not readily available on weekends - recommend going before you arrive. Would love to see a visitor...

It's very easy to forget this wonderful place is so close to some of the southern suburbs of Canberra. You can appreciate the sounds of the birds & the wind in the trees without traffic noise in the background. I love that the main walking loop has information boards at regular intervals & the bird hides have photos & information on the many birds & animals you may see. The walking tracks & bike path are really well maintained & most are accessible...

Great place for bird watchers and those who like to be in touch with nature. Several raised walkways around the wetlands with viewing areas. There is also several sheltered hides around the waterways to view birds in seclusion. As you walk around listen to the various frog noises. There are various signs around the site describing the walks as well as what birds, animals and amphibians you may see.
