Chong Co Thai Restaurant Greenway — Restaurant in District of Tuggeranong

THE LAST 2 WEEKS WAS A TOTAL SHOCK . THIS ISNT THE THAI RESTAURANT I USED TO KNOW !

Last Thursday take away " Lunch Special " No Rice included when in fact its " Special Lunch ". The Duck Red Curry had no thai basil nor thai flavour, and the duck omg , hard to chew. Stir fry Crispy pork was soggy , very salty , leaves was over cook , too watery sauce. The Pad kee mao and the rest definitely NOT THAI STANDARDS.

GAVe IT ANOTHER TRY TODAY, DINE IN WITH FAMILY. ( This used to be one of our favourite places to go )

Chicken Chilli Basil w rice. No trace of Chillies nor basil but 2 slices of brocolli and no sauce ! Returned, got it fix! The Pad thai noodles meat was hard , seems from yesterday left over , old slice of lemon ,too much taste of tamarind, hardly any mung beans, cannot eat it. The seafood laksa Noodle included BIG SLICES OF HARD TOFU! WHATS GOING ON CHONG CO. WE DINE FOR YEARS and love it !Bought friends colleague's, relatives and way back when you where at tuggeranong mall. Make us think if the business was sold . Is this an Indian run restaurant with Indian cook ?

The food at this Thai restaurant was genuinely delicious — fresh ingredients, great flavors, and well-presented dishes.

However, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to the poor service and management . The staff seemed impatient from the moment we sat down. They rushed us through the meal, repeatedly came to the table asking to clear plates even before we finished eating, and made us feel unwelcome as if they were trying to push us out.

It’s unfortunate because the quality of the food deserves better service to match. Dining out should feel relaxing and enjoyable, not hurried and uncomfortable.

I hope the management addresses the professionalism of the staff, as it really affects the overall experience.

We came here for lunch as a family of 8. The service, food and atmosphere couldn't have been better.

Doors were opened for us when we arrived Food came out within literal minutes Our 2 year old was given age appropriate cutlery/plate/cup as soon as we were seated Staff were attentive and absolutely lovely Plates were cleared quickly and efficiently without making us feel like we had overstayed our welcome The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming - hanging lights and decor were stunning, but also clear of spiderwebs/dust which was amazing

Each dish we had (5 lunch specials and 3 kids nuggets and chips) was hot, quick and absolutely delicious.

I would not hesitate to return, and will recommend the restaurant (particularly when dining in) to all and sundry.
