Outback Trek Cafe — Restaurant in Dubbo

About 2.30pm, our group of 6 entered cafe and we went to order at counter, but were asked to sit and they'd come and take our order. The cafe wasn't busy, with one other couple, who went up and ordered at counter Immediately after us .... hmm. We waited 7 minutes, during which staff came out, swept the floor, cleared a table, glanced at us absentmindedly. So we left. On our way out, a young waitress ever so slowly cleaned a kitchen bench and watched us leave in complete disinterest. I get it, half an hour to closing, couldn't be bothered to take another order, especially from a big group. But just tell us. Would have loved to support the Flying Drs cafe ...... maybe we'll try again...

We visited for lunch yesterday and this morning for breakfast before we headed back to Sydney and the staff were super friendly and made you feel welcome like an old friend. The food is very tasty and great sized portions and the prices are very affordable. We will be back next...

Very disappointed with change of menu. Now very limited and two of my favourites missing. Was looking forward to usual steak sandwich. Have recommended highly in the past but not now. Service still good and so is the coffee but probably won't be going back for a meal...
