Parking is free for visitors if you validate your ticket at the front desk. The breakfast buffet is good value for money, with hot and cold options. I could only take a photo of the hot foods. They had machine made coffee and cold fruit drinks. The pineapple juice, was nice and refreshing in ice, even if sourced from a bottle. They had cold meats and fruits. I agree with others that it understaff but had good service in that my plates were cleared. Staff were nice and friendly. I had a infant with me so they were able to source a highchair. At a cafe, a big breakfast may set you back $25 dollars, plus a coffee, bring the total to $30.00. here a buffet is $30 per adult, so there is value for money, especially if you get seconds. PS.s they do takeaway coffee too. The view is nice and close to the pool, was able to enjoy...
Read moreThis new pool venue could be phenomenal, but completely misses the mark. This review is for the new splash cafe. Locals can pay $30 pp (inc kids) to swim, but you then get this $ back in cafe/bar credits for same-day use only. The pool itself is glorious, but its complete lack of shade is a debilitating setback. To avoid the heat of the day we headed down with the family for a sunset swim, drinks and nibbles. Upon arrival at 6pm we found the pool closed at 7pm, but we still had to pay full price. The cafe credits were quickly consumed by $14 beers and $15 (very average)Prosecco, but the super-average food is the reason for my review. I’ll let the photo of the $35 charcuterie review itself. Ultra-Poor value and...
Read moreTerrible experience. Service was appalling. Ordered the Snapper Ceviche and the smell of rotten fish was overpowering. They’re going to make someone sick if they serve that to people. When we asked them to take it back we were lectured by two staff members about the fact that ceviche is ‘raw’ fish as though we had no idea what ceviche is. Raw doesn’t mean rotten. Waited an ages for our drinks. Food actually arrived before the drinks. About 25-30 minutes before we got our drinks. Rubbish service and rotten food. Don’t waste your time and spend the $30 in an uber to go to Darwin city and get decent food...
