Unable to give any stars unfortunately. It was only about 10° outside and lucky if any warmer inside. Had to keep my bulky coat on. The espresso martini was watered down. Very disappointing missing that rich coffee flavour...$25. I don't mind paying for a good martini but this was the worst. Did they think I would not notice?? We ordered Indian. The worst we have ever eaten...well we barely ate it. The vegetarian curry consisted of pumpkin/sweet potato, zero flavour, and was in a watery, favourless liquid. The eggplant curry was just like stewed eggplant and was flavourless. The rice was hard and inedible. The naan was greasy, no garlic or flavour and was also inedible. None of the food was hot. We left most of it. We came home still hungry and had a bowl of cornflakes and cheese and biscuits. We have been going here on and off for years as we are local. Never again. Probably the worst 'dining' experience ever. Ps I had to give a star to...

Great location , great environment . But terrible food specially if you going for north Indian food then I will suggest you please don’t even think about them at all . Don’t go by name they just selling boiled vegetables with salt and Peper and on the name of garlic bread they served us breads in a bowl . Hahahah what a joke . Cheese naan was cheese on the top of cooked flat dough in oven or grill .

Now I talk about about the staff . Staff was great except the lady who we asked for seat she asked us to sit in the middle of the restaurants on the stool . When I requested the other seats she just laughed in a terrible way and said it’s a the same . What a great welcome . Which was very ebarassing .

Restaurant...

We went in for takeaway pizza and Indian food. Very pleasant girl took our order and said it would take 40min. Her service is the only reason we gave any stars at all. We decided to have a drink and wait. At 40min my husband checked and was told the pizza was in the oven. At 55min we were told the curry wasn't ready. We left with our takeaway after waiting 1hr 10min. Frankly I wasn't hungry anymore but we ate pizza... it was average. For $60 for two 12" pizzas I expect better. We haven't had the curries yet (for tomorrow)so in fairness can't comment on the quality, but for the curries to be unready after that length of time just suggests a disorganised kitchen. We...

Friday night is very busy at the Beach House Cafe even in the middle of winter. Bookings absolutely recommended for Friday night which we did. Very easy to communicate with these guys on Facebook if you wish to do so. We had pizzas which were generously topped. Nice flavour, but there's room for more kick. Wines are reasonably priced, but if you want to byo bottled wine, it's $15.00 per bottle, which these days is ok. Would love to visit when there's live music happening, but not sure when this is.

Went there for dinner as we always like to try new places & their food. Beach House Cafe looks like a great community hub and a cool cafe. We tried Rump steak with prawn and Teriyaki duck with fried rice. Both are stone grill dish. With the rump steak, the seasoning wasn’t even but it wasn’t too bad (probably the kitchen was too busy that night). Had to wait tooo long for the cocktail drink but overall experience wasn’t bad. Price for the food was moderate. May be.... we will try again
