Has TV can not use to watch Netflix or YouTube/Stan so only availablefor mainstream crap which nobody wants to watch these days, they should upgrade all TVs so you have as a paying customer these things available given your paying enough every night to stay here! The meals are near $50 each one of which I had some time ago which was average and the bun was dry and I couldn't eat it. And the latest meal they forced me to pay for when the people who covered the trip said it was to be billed to the company credit card very annoyed about that and the lady at reception was quiet rude to me about that! I bring food up and more times then not my food goes crap because the fridge temperature doesn't seem to stay at a reasonable temperature. Also despite of having do not disturb on the door the staff seem to ignore and knock anyway. Lucky I'm not paying for this as but if you want to stay somewhere that's customers first I'd look elsewhere. The rooms are nice (which they should be your paying for it) these few things need to be sorted though. Also the windows need tint as anyone could look straight in during the day suppose you need to change or do whatever you can't open your blinds or you won't have privacy. Hopefully these things will change and be sorted but call in advance because they won't do anything once your there without difficulty. Also when I stay to do my own thing they don't seem to have any respect and hang around my door doing there chores which I...

A really nice setting. On entering it looks quality with ornate table decorations, very clean and fresh looking. There is a shoe polishing machine at the front door for everyone to use, very cute. The menu is comprehensive with a great variety. We had the fish of the day which was gold band snapper with confit potato and broccolini and cherry tomatoes. The second dish was prawn bisque with prawns, fish with croutons Also the third dish was rolled lamb shoulder with roast potatoes roast carrots and a carrot purĂ©e, Sadly the potatoes seemed recooked as they were ‘powdery’ inside with a tough exterior, they tasted like left over toast potatoes you have the next day. The lamb shoulder was tender with a crispy outer. The meals were really well presented, the chef takes pride in presentation. Staff were friendly and helpful going the extra mile. At one stage the staff member leant over in front of one of us causing her to lean back, the waitress was getting the unnecessary cutlery. This was surprising for such a refined environment. The waitress apologised as she realised what had transpired. Also the restaurant has poor noise attenuation, it was very hard to hear our conversation. Some soft furnishings would help. The reason for the four stars instead of five was the noise, the potatoes and the staff leaning over which is minor really! I would have like to...

The food is just sad, don’t go there if you have any other choice...

Stayed in the attached motel and ordered room service as it was too late to go out. I understand that prices are more expensive in these place but what I got was just disappointing!

Ordered the Zucchini and Mushroom Bolognese (28$) and the Cherry “Tom” Chicken (30$), both were very bland and reminded me of food in a school canteen...

The chicken was served with “Mediterranean couscous” which was firstly no couscous (some other grain maybe, like rice pops) and secondly full of raisins! I don’t like to eat raisins so I picked them out of my food. Have a look on the pictures how many there were! It was not mentioned in the menu at all... I’m usually ok with things like that but seriously, this was more a raisin salad than any couscous dish...

Zucchini noodles were all watery and the sauce had no mushroom taste at all.

Both dishes were in general not a well flavored.

Finished both dishes (except for the raisins) as were on the road the whole day and starving.

The quality of food is really poor for the ridiculously high prices!!

Staff is very friendly all...

Amazing meals - we had entrees and mains! Steak was beautiful although no greenery. Unfortunately the service was very poor, very slow wait times between arriving and being offered beverages. After dinner plates were cleared, weren't offered desserts until we promoted, after 15 minutes of waiting. Was told there wasn't the dessert we requested and the other dessert was another 15min wait time. Very pleased with meals although service was disappointing as we'd heard lot of great things about the Emerald Room.
