Chicken Treat Mahomets Flats — Restaurant in Western Australia

Today around 4:00 PM, our group of 14 people visited Chicken Treat. We initially intended to place an order for three 9-piece chicken treats and one 6-piece combo. When we first requested the three 9-piece treats, we were told only one could be prepared. This was surprising, as in other Chicken Treat locations we’ve visited, the staff have typically been accommodating, asking us to wait 20–30 minutes when placing larger orders.

After expressing our willingness to wait, the team eventually agreed to prepare all three 9-piece treats, which we appreciated. However, when we later tried to add just one more 6-piece combo (as four more people were joining us), the staff declined the request again.

It was a bit confusing and disappointing — especially considering they had just agreed to make three 9-piece boxes, but couldn’t accommodate a single 6-piece combo. Each time we tried to order, the front counter staff had to ask the kitchen staff, and unfortunately, the response from the kitchen was often a flat refusal without explanation.

Given that it wasn’t close to closing time, and there didn’t seem to be a shortage of chicken, we found the service a bit inconsistent compared to our past experiences with the brand.

We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as we generally enjoy Chicken Treat and would love to see more consistency in service...

The manager and the front staff literally wants to get rid of customers who place big orders. Last week Friday, at 4 pm approximately, l asked for three 9 piece chicken. The front staff was literally annoyed when we asked for it. Intially she refused. We asked for an explanation. Then she said she would serve but we must wait for half an hour at least. We agreed since it was reasonable. After a few minutes we asked her if she could add another six piece with the current order. Then the manager refused saying she can serve only three 9 piece. Not anything more!!.

From the beginning, an unfriendly attitude, deliberate attempt to avoid customers was marked. The franchise authority must have to to take action against the current owner. To be specific, the manager and the front staff was simply unprofessional. I myself have worked in food industry and my brother has his own restaurant. I can never think of treating customer like this. Literally shocke! We live in Bunbury and get excellent service from chicken treat. Great food and great service. Unfortunately, stores like this in Geraldton is a shame and will leave very bad image...

We have received an email from Chicken Treat advertising 1/4 chicken and chips for $7.the email excludes some northern wa sites from this deal ,we were at Mahomets Flats Geraldton and were told it isn't available here even though the email states available at ALL Chicken Trat outlets.Conditions apply.
