Overall experience 1 star; 1st time visit this morning usually its chaos so thought must be good. Expectations for eggs bene have changed in society and I had no idea that the world encorporated Croissants into the meal, I expected toast but they also offered croissants stated quit clearly on the menu but not offered by waitress during your order I also missed that it offers toast. I never noticed that either, however I assumed that the waitress would ask me my preference as do all cafesn restaurants etc saving loss profit, customers and cancelled orders. On this occassion the waitress took my order an assumed croissant rather then offer me the options even though I never asked for a paticular... seemed weird to me later, When my breakfast arrived I notice it wasn't toast I thought my order was wrong, I approached the waitress at the counter with my plate explaining the above. I assured another server who interupted rudely it isn't common to have eggs bene anywhere with croissants it's new to the world and had the waitress made it clear there were to opitions available I would have choosen toast. I responded kindly cause I was starting to become nausea and anxious "please can i just have a piece of toast to fix the issue" she agreed but replied I will have to charge you! she started to read the menu to me just to note that they display croissants. I replied well could I please just have a replacement 1 slice of toast? however sadly the server refused without me paying. She was stern she was defensive although I was timmed, polite and firm on my answers. I never once bought bad attention however the surrounding customers were steering at me in that moment I felt she lacked vulnerabilty training and It left me anxious & uncomfortable to eat here so I refused their service and asked for a refund sent my partner to deal with it and left crying. Not my usual im a fighter especially for poor service where theres an easy fix. Myself & the waitress lacked communication due to language barrier but I guessed i was better off going elsewhere if the business refused to keep 1 customer happy over 1 slice of toast. In my opinion your staff need to be trained to ask and offer the customer the difference that a meal has it isn't ordinary to receive croissants and you offer 2 options so make your customer clear. If i ordered a steak you would ask me how I like it cooked so diffrentiate yourselfs and if I say blue your not going to bring me a welldone steak. Change the way you approah your custimer service.if your expectation is to have a fancy menu for breakfast. Currently I work for the hotel office management & also Westpac Group. I will share my thoughts to those who enter these spaces. If it means you will change the way you handle servicing customers. I spent $60 for 2 coke, 2 cuppachino, 2 poached eags on 1 croissant sliced in half (No meat eggs been) and bacon with 2 egss on toast. That is reasonable however for the price the service didn't match it for me. Everyone.desers kindness in service however today showed me that this business is about money not about customers. May return one day to see the changes in your servicing. I was willing to wait for 1 slice of toast to have with my cold eggs bt it was refused without pay to satisfy the customer and not 1 apology to me for the misunderstanding jst left me disgusted upset and no longer interested to send any customers their way. Will ensure to spread the word around. Will come back in 5...

Second visit to this cafe, first time was lovely, therapeutic even, coffee and food were amazing and atmosphere was so calming. My second visit I’m a little disappointed with. Went to order a juice for my husband and was told that they don’t sell juices anymore despite it still being on their menu and that they haven’t done so in a while. I ordered a chai tea which is $5.60 on the menu and it states that you can order it with either a soy or almond base so I ordered soy assuming it was inclusive of the price but was then charged $6.70. When I queried this the girl serving me double checked and said that it was actually $6.70 in their system, I didn’t press the issue as I didn’t really feel like arguing the point… basically, if you change the price of a menu item or remove menu items please update the actual menu…. Note also I ended up ordering my husband a tropical smoothie and it was anything but smooth, it was quite icy to be honest. I know that they can do better which is why I will still give them another shot and everyone that works there is extremely nice. Please if management could look into this. Thank you! P.S. your bench seats outside are ridiculously high and it’s very uncomfortable to sit on if you’re trying to eat or enjoy your coffee without...

Even though this is a positive review I would like to give some constructive feedback. I felt that the pour over I’ve had here was way to wet it felt to me like the wetness of the pour over was over the top while the coffee was delicious and had a great mouthfeel the wateryness of the water ruined the experience. I could have just explained this issue to the staff that provided incredible service and would have just taken care of me in that moment but I felt it would be more better if I went home slept on it and wrote this review. Again the ratio of coffee to water was perfect and while the coffee tasted delicious unfortunately the water had too much of a watery taste to it. I think for me to return in future these guys would need to reduce the...

We visited on a Sat morning around 10am for breakfast, and it was busy. The food was very yummy, good portion sizes, if a little more on the expensive side. The karaage chicken that came with the big breakfast was delicious! Only negative was the fruit smoothies; were extremely chunky with frozen fruit not blended enough. No table service, order at counter. So counter ordering was annoying having to wait in a large line. The drinks also came out after our food due to them being busy. Needed more staff. Otherwise was a good cafe for a breakfast/brunch stop. Would visit again.
