Tasty Noodle — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

We recently did a pickup order from Tasty Noodle in Labrador and it was genuinely one of the best takeaway experiences we’ve had on the Gold Coast. If I could give them 6 stars, I would!

How was the food? Absolutely amazing! Every dish was packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and honestly better than many dine-in meals we’ve had elsewhere. The taste was authentic, rich and satisfying from the very first bite.

What about the portions? The portions were incredibly generous - enough for leftovers the next day, which is such a bonus! It’s rare to find this level of quality and quantity at such affordable prices.

Was it ready on time? Yes! Our order was ready right on time and everything was organised, hot and neatly packed. Pickup was smooth and stress-free, which makes a huge difference on a busy day.

Good value? 100%. The prices are very reasonable, especially given how much food you get. It’s excellent value for money, and nothing felt skimped or rushed.

Ordered thru Uber eats (07072020). Sweet and sour beef with rice and wonton noodle soup. Portion size was generous for all dishes ordered. I'm disappointed with sweet and sour beef as felt not all were beef. Wonton soup was delicious but a little salty and slightly oily for my liking. Tonight (09062020) ordered crispy rainbow beef and mild fried kaui teow. Arrived hot and super tasty. Great portion size. I never leave negative reviews, I try to look for what's good in an item or food but this was absolutely disgusting.

I threw it out after the first fork full of noodles and the sweet and sour pork was just a soup bowl of the sauce with dollops of soggy fried batter, no pork at all, didn't even taste like sweet or sour, it was very bitter.

I rang to tell the owners so at least they know, but after introducing myself and telling them I just ordered from a delivery company they hung up on me and didn't answer any of my calls, hence why I am leaving this review. Absolute waste of $50. Such a disappointment, maybe wouldn't have been as disappointed if they at least didn't hang up on me...
