McDonald's BP Stapylton — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Went here late morning so the store was nearly empty. Before ordering i asked if they had a chicken burger with a chicken breast fillet (actually mentioned the chicken breast fillet twice and said i don't want a chicken patty), was told yes so ordered what the server suggested. On getting my burger it was not a breast fillet, it was a 0.5cm thick processed chicken patty which was definately overcooked, dry and hard as a rock around the first 2mm from edge all the way around it. Id be surprised if it wasnt a leftover from the night before we arrived and partially reheated and shoved in a fresh roll when I ordered. It was disgusting, I would have complained at the time if it wasn't for my husband stopping me so i ended up throwing out the chicken and just eating the bun with the few strands of lettuce. At least some of the tables had been cleaned unlike the floor. Next trip we'll drive past instead...

I ordered a burger here last night and whoever made the burger must be amazing. I had to speak to the manager to pass on the commendation. The burger ACTUALLY looked like a photo burger. It has to be quite literally the first burger I have had in years from any Macca's that didn't look like it was thrown into the container. Please pat the burger maker on the back and set the bar a bit higher like this person. It is nice to think that some care has gone into the food we pay for. I am really spewing I didn't take a photo as it really looked that great but...

The over-the-top police presence at this place is pretty annoying, when you're trying to buy food. Also I had a cop behind me once, and I pulled into BP Service centre Yatala, and I had a feeling that they thought I was trying to run from them, when all I was doing was getting fuel. They pulled diagonally in front of me, as if trying to block me in at the bowser and then asked a couple questions, while not even leaving their car, and then they just left?
