Bit ridiculous to be turned away because a party of 4 adults + a baby counts as 5 and you're told you can't move a table to accommodate the baby because "the tables are reserved" while there's no reserved sign. Cafe is empty but they obviously don't like business. Avoid if you enjoy gathering with people.
EDIT: In reply to the owners response. Let's root this in fact. Your staff offered our group a table and moved the tables together. Your response was to YELL (see I can type in caps too) across the cafe with the simple words "can't put tables together" These tables in question had no reserved sign on them There was no yelling at staff, I approached the counter to ask why can't we move tables together and your response was to rudely state that those tables were reserved. How am I to know that as a patron?? Your offer of a drafty table with a baby signifies how you treat families who are trying to keep their children warm. I personally could not care how other tables offered you support how we spoke. You were rude in the first instance yelling across the cafe. Your condescending comment about winter is noted and I hope people read these reviews when looking at where to spend their hard earned money and choose elsewhere as rude business owners should not be given a chance.

Read moreUnfortunately my friends and I witnessed bullying behaviour by the owner/manager to her young staff member resulting in tears . During our visit for breakfast we ordered the $25 pancakes to which we asked for no bacon and was told it would still be full price (to which we had no issue with) once the pancakes were brought out, there was no ice cream just 3 x plain pancakes with maple syrup for $25. When we enquired about the ice cream we were informed this was an additional cost, we had paid full price minus bacon yet no swap was offered and were told to pay an additional $5 for ice cream. We therefore just requested a refund for the pancakes. 2mins later the young waitress came over with tears in her eyes apologising over the situation (which was not her fault) she had just been berated by the manager and in front of full view of the diners , which is extremely unprofessional and a form of bullying. This is absolutely disgraceful and very disappointing will never return as staff do not deserve to be treated like this. The food is also an absolute rip off and has continued to rise in price . People are happy to pay for decent food if the quality and quantity is there. Your staff are lovely but the way the owner /manager treats the staff you are lucky to still have any staff and...
