Steakout pizzeria - Pizza Italian Restaurant Sandstone Point — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

We have been there on numerous times over the last few years, the food was always great, but sometimes the service was lacking. We went there in October and couldn't fault the service or the food, and all the tables were full..

But we went a few nights ago, and the food was far from the great,, It was concerning when e ordered a chicken meal and came out with steak knives. My chicken was ok, but my wife's was tough, like it been cooked a few times in the microwave. The other frustration thing they only 1 type of desert. We provided our feedback on the food when we paid, but didn't seem to be much concern about the issue. Also there always seems to be an issue with the wine availability on what is on the menu.

We also noticed a massive drop in the patronage last night, ( only 4 tables) and massive drop in the amount pick-ups.

If the owners get a chance to read this, please don'y give up on your restaurant. You have a great spot and normally great food..

Was pretty disappointed with the overall service here tonight. From long waits just to place our order.. Too food taking a very long time to come out. The young lady taking orders and delivering food seemed very unorganised and under the pump considering she was basically the only one running around from table to table trying to take orders and then wait orders out to tables by herself. She had to keep apologising for how long everything took. At one stage a different girl came out and asks us how our meals were.. We we replied that we hadn’t received them yet, she took off to check up.. .Only to return 10 minutes later to tell us that the chef had only just started cooking ours (which to me sounded like our order had possibly been forgotten or lost until it was bought to attention). Unfortunately I can t say the food was great. Waitress didn't know what the House wine was, or that de bortoli is an aussie wine. That s OK.

But there was literally only 1 other table of people there, and food still took 40 mins, for 2 salads and 3 pizzas.

You could tell the pizza was cooked from frozen packaged! Definitely not freshly made!!! The Greek salad was underwhelming and presented very poorly! My 8 year old could do a better job. And the kids pizzas were the same size as the main pizza!?

When I mentioned it to the chef that one pizza cost me $10 more than the kids pizza for exactly the same size and quality, he pretty much said: too bad too sad! No care whatsoever! Place must have changed management and run by Indians now, because care factor and quality is very poor. Very disappointing end to an otherwise fabulous weekend!
