Came here for my bday dinner tonight, drinks took soooo long that one drink came out one a a time 10 mins a part from each other.. the bar tender making one drink at a time talking about he is leaving in 10 mins and is out !!
Dinner service was terrible from the get go, waitress was not approachable and when asked about what the meals come with she huffed and rolled her eyes at us..
our table had previous guests glasses and bottles on it and the whole time we were here it was not cleared .. we would understand if the venue was busy but being 5pm it was quit quiet .
Our meals came and we almost fell off our seats… $22 for this tiny over cooked piece of fish… no sides no chips even though we ordered a extra side of chips, when questioned we were told no we didn’t .😳 … the fish is soooo over cooked it is like rubber.. Not to mention the table of salt they poured on to it. This is a seafood restaurant and the seafood we were served is beyond uneatable. When we took meal back to counter and said this is not ok, we asked for a chicken burger instead and was handed a buzzer… the buzzer rang we walked back up again to the counter to find out that it was a mistake and have been given us a wrong buzzer… Our whole table of 10 have eaten and my husband still waiting on his chicken burger that was meant to be “rushed through”!!!
The venue is stunning the service is disgusting !! Such a shame as we are staying at the big4 sandstone and have loved it so much we extended our stay for another 4 days.. we will not be wasting our money at the oyster shake again. 1 star

Additionally does not cater for alternative dietary needs such as vegetarians/vegans. Although I guess from the name of the place I shouldn't choose to eat there but I went with my husband who is a meat eater.
Children were observed clearing and picking up glasses from the beach which obviously isn't the Beach clubs fault but maybe signage may discourage people from walking along boardwalk with their drinks and throwing their empty glasses in the water
Food took a long time to be served but this was understandable due to the volume of customers.
A staff member was hassling people to clear their own tables but customers should be advised via signs if this is expected of them, instead of having some rude/hostile women tell them what to do.
I'm sorry, as I don't like to give bad reviews but it could be so much better with a few tweaks here and there, as it's a lovely setting and very...

Decided to try this place again since it was renovated after leaving a 1 star review 4 years ago.
Renovation is great but the place still sucks.
Food is very average. Potato scallops were cold, chips were bland, crumbed calamari was soggy, chicken burger had no flavour, and best of all we couldn't even cut through our over-cooked crumbed fish with the paper cutlery in the cardboard containers.
And wasn't cheap either. The least they could do is have plates and cutlery for actual adults.
Such a beautiful location but spoiled by terrible quality. The loud music also sounded like a 90s disco party at 2pm on a Friday. We left as soon as we could, didn't even finish our drinks because the vibe was so bad. Won't be back.
Only good thing I can say about the place is it's a beautiful spot, the toilets were clean and the staff were friendly. Might be a decent place to have a drink with mates if you're a fan of repetitive dance...
