Omg 😭 Kaia is so adorable. When we walked in she greeted us with a cheeky grin and whispered “two people?” Then proceeded to give us menus, bring us water, and take our order. Once she got comfortable with us, she got chattier. She’s all of 10 years old and you can tell she’s sharp and switched on. While we were waiting she also offered us chocolates haha! The place is family owned and seem to mostly do takeaway and catering orders. If I had a party I’d definitely order from here. Food was excellent as well. Dunno how they prepared the noodles but the pad thai noodles had a slight chew to it, which I loved. Other reviewers said they use a wok which gives it that flavor, and I think I understand why it tastes so good now! I think this must be how they get such great texture as well. Overall the dish was seasoned well and portion sizes were great! Great little spot, a little hidden away, but certainly worth the visit. It also seems like plenty of locals know them and pop in often.

Let's just cut to the chase - I love food and love reviewing food - these folks delivered in spades. The 75 Google reviews all 5 star gained my attention and I can safely say that this outlet is worthy of that esteemed rating. Table service was friendly and speedy. The menu appears to be predominantly Thai in appearance with an interesting twist incorporating regional dishes not entirely congruent with Thai cuisine. When I spotted shrimp paste in a dish on the menu I just had to try the binagoongan - that is an amazing Filipino creation. This didn't disappoint - big, punchy shrimp paste aroma and flavour. Crispy pork provided the textural counterpoint and was well balanced via the chilli. I can't wait to return to experience more of their delicious dishes. Hidden away in Toowoomba suburbia, this joint definitely deserves your patronage.

Ordered fried rice for the first time from this restaurant on Uber Eats tonight due to the high number of good reviews. Unfortunately my fried rice was extremely dry and tasteless. Charged $6 for extra egg. (Where is the six dollars worth of egg?) Surely wasn't in it. Was barely any normal amount of egg. 2 pieces of broccoli, one piece of onion, $26 for that was pretty appalling, If you can see lots of white rice, you automatically know it doesnt have enough flavour. Will feed the dogs luckily. Overall unpleasant experience.

If you’re after a dining experience that hits all the right notes, Kaia’s Kitchen is the place to go. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal.

The food? Absolutely incredible. The cashew chicken and green curry were standouts—both paired perfectly with the creamy, fragrant coconut rice (seriously, YUM). The pad thai also deserves a shoutout: it’s the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

The service was equally impressive. It’s clear they care about making every visit special.

Kaia’s Kitchen is a gem we have returned to many times and will definitely continue...
